The restaurant does have a slight "scent of oriental authenticity" that I am not too fond of but, thankfully, is not too... overpowering. I really enjoyed the hand-pulled wide noodles in Uncle Zhou's signature "dial oil" - great texture and veryflavorful. You will like the cumin powder fried lamb if you have a taste for the spice and do not shy away from cilantro - andlots of it! Order a bowl of rice at a minimal additional charge to complement the dish. I did not find the spicy crispy chickenand prawns to be spicy at all (good news for some), but they definitely required a beer or two. Note that the restaurant doesnot serve alcohol (BYOB - they will provide chilled glasses). Also note that the restaurant had been recognized on Michelin'sBib Gourmand list for many years in Queens, New York prior to its relocation here. You will experience an abundance of flavorsin each dish without it being too salty - a great textbook introduction to Henan cuisine! Read more
Everything we tried here was delicious, but the highlight was definitely the signature hand pulled noodles. We got to watch the... chef hand pull the noodles in the kitchen. The texture and taste were perfect. I also really liked the pork belly with preservedvegetables. Read more
Very cute and clean place. Food is good but one of my favorite dishes didn’t have roasted peanuts like I like, it was just... different style. Hot tea is very light, almost no flavor, but very hot like it supposed to be! Seasoning it’s ok, presentationis good. Friendly atmosphere. Read more
One of my favorite places to dine at! The hand pulled noodles are always a hit. They have a great texture and flavor. Also... pictured is the pork belly w. Preserved veges and the beef filet in fresh hot pepper sauce. It is also byob beer and wine so wewere able to pair our meal with a light beer. Read more
I came here based on a YouTube review and maybe the high rating is based on that review but I am disappointed to write that this... restaurant is seriously over rated and definitely not authentic Chinese. The restaurant is pretty and quite large. I wasapprehensive about the menu because the picture looked pretty Americanize Chinese but I was hoping that maybe I was wrong.Unfortunately that was not the case. We ordered the Hunan tofu, sesame chicken for the kids, and dragon (eggplant in sweet andsour sauce). The Hunan tofu was okay. Kinda strong taste and the tofu had a bit of a strange tastes (maybe frozen tofu). Thesesame chicken is like most Americanize and my daughter liked it. The dragon eggplant was cooked well but the sauce wasn't good- very bright red and very sweet. The service was not good either. The waitstaff kept disappearing and we needed to flag thendown quite often. Overall I definitely would not come back and I will definitely be wary of YouTube reviewers. Read more

Favorite Chinese restaurant in the area - my boyfriend and I LOVE coming here. Our favorite dishes is the spicy fish with rice,... scallion pancakes, and beef hand made noodles. My favorite part is that the staff spoke Chinese to me as soon as we walked in.The decor feels very homey as well, would definitely recommend! Read more
Deliciously thick and chewy hand pulled noodles! Each of the noodle dishes we ordered had very different tastes. I ordered the... vegetarian egg & tomato noodles, which was okay as it is ( and probably good for small children bc it’s quite plain) butsuuuper amazing when I added the house-made spicy chili oil to it. The Dial Oil noodles were very fragrantly spiced, and alsodelicious. The beef hand-pulled noodle has some vermicelli on top which is hiding the thick hand-pulled noodles at the bottomof the bowl.
