This place is meant to be a premium taco shop, serving fairly expensive tacos with top end ingredients. Service was overall... good. This place runs like a well oiled machine. The food on its own is very good. The tacos, were good, to say the least. Theiconic vegan Velvet Cake was great, since it was a great accommodation for my allergies. The sitting area is good, especiallyoutside. Everything appears clean. Overall this restaurant wasn't anything too special, but was a great and filling mealnevertheless. Read more
We came to eat dinner here at about 7:45. This place was pretty busy and there was no seating inside so we had to sit outside... which was a bummer. The outdoor seating is nice but it was still pretty hot!!! I was sweating while eating. This was unfortunatefor me but I would definitely still eat here again ( and again and again and again!) so so good! Our tacos came out quickly. Ihad the #12 Slow-roasted angus brisket, which I highly recommend! We also had the #18 chicken and waffle, Barbacoa beef nachosand the queso and chips. Everything was delicious. My daughter and I went to have lunch at the Velvet Taco location in Plano. We haven't been to this location, this is the first... time. We had good things about Velvet Taco so we decided to give it a try and....we are glad we did. This will be our new taco spot!... We ordered via the QR code on the table. I ordered the Grilled Flank Steak taco, Mexi-cali Shrimp taco, and Spicy Tikka Chicken.My fiance ordered Picnic Chicken and Cuban Pig tacos. All were absolutely delicious! Unique take on tacos, went with different than traditional such as cauliflower and chicken & waffle. Recommend sticking to some... of the traditional fillings instead. Taste for those were off the mark on taste for me but I'll try again with meats. Tater totswith egg was surprisingly good though. Will return to try again. Read more
One of the best original curated speciality tacos. Love the Chicken tikka especially, a must try. It can take a while to get... your order but most of the times it?s worth the wait. We also enjoyed the Nashville Tofu taco as well, a good flavourful optionfor Veggie lovers. Read more
Excellent Dining experience. The tacos were great! Really enjoyed the atmosphere inside and out. The two way, inside/outside... screen table was a little interesting but allowed us to meet a new couple. The tacos presented well on thier metal specifictrays. The flavors caught me off guard a bit. I guess I have not had a truly great taco until now. The burger taco was reallyfantastic. Great job! Read more
