Tried Zalat for the first time and it was great! When I arrived to pick up my order they informed an extra ingredient was... accidentally added and a new one was being made. I had no problem with the extra topping but they insisted on taking bothpizzas. Great food and customer service! Definitely recommend. Read more

I waited 45 mins for my 18 inch pepperoni and cheesy appetizer because they accidentally burned the cheesy appetizer and threw... it in the trash. Worst part is my pizza was half raw and not well done at all. I had to put it in the toaster at home which justruined the flavor entirely and made it greasier. I?m so disappointed and believe their quality is getting worse everyday. I evensent feedback a while back because my pizza wasn?t well done as requested but got no response. You?d expect the pizza to be upto standards when paying the prices they have. Read more

They forgot the marinara and hot sauce, ignored I wanted it well done and pizza was shaped funny. Had to say something :/ prefer... other locations Edit: service getting worse at same location. Got my order without hot sauce and barley cooked even tho I askedfor well done? wasn?t going to complain again, until I found something odd on my pizza. Worst location ever Read more

So I ordered through a 3rd party site that this place allows. Said 20 minutes. Got to this location on time per that app and... said it was ready just before I walked. They stated it was not ready and had to wait 20 minutes since they got a big order of 17pizzas just before mine. I understood and waiting in my car. 20 mins later walk back and still stated it was not done statingthe same thing of the big order and to wait another 10 minutes. It was ready after the 10 minutes. It looked like it was throwntogether in pieces but the temp was even throughout the entire pizza with no overcooking. Afterwards the pizza was actuallygood. UPDATE: Zalat reached out to me and was able to compensate me after my review which was a 1 star. Their immediate actionto rectify my situation made all the difference for me. Read more

I used to live near the Zalat on Fitzhugh and I love the pizza. I?m a vegan and while Zalat doesn?t offer a meat alternative I... love that they at least offer a vegan cheese. I recently moved to Richardson and I?m very glad that there?s a Zalat less thantwo miles from me. Unfortunately the 18? pizza I just had was not quite what I?m used to. $41 for a pizza that as you can see inthe photo is missing some surface area. Now if it was Valentine?s Day than my heart shaped pizza might be ok but I don?t think Iwould have paid $41 for it. As far as the flavor goes I do have to say it?s one of the best pizzas in the DFW. Hopefully theperson tossing the dough can get it down to perfect roundness. Or at least closer than my last pizza. One more thing I wouldlove to see is maybe a build your own pizza. That tends to be why the pizza cost so much. I have to order a pizza and then addthe toppings I want. I know they just opened so I?ll give them a couple more opportunities. Edit since last pizza: Happy to saythat Zalat gave me a credit so I could get another pizza and I will say it was one hundred times better. Thanks Zalat! Read more

About last night... the perfect comfort food for a thunderstorm!! This was my first experience with Zalat & I overall gave it... 5-stars!! I first tried to order online, but there was nowhere to build my own pizza so called to place my order. I spoke withAndrew who was extremely helpful & knowledgeable. I ordered the PhoShizzle, but made it my own [Housemade Ranch sauce versus theMarinara, Chicken, Mushrooms, Carmelized Onions, Red Bell Peppers, & all the regular cilantro and drizzle toppings that come onthe PhoShizzle]. So, if you wish to build your own pizza you pretty much have to pick the pizza on the menu that's closest towhat you want then change it around to your liking. This was soo good and fresh! The thin crust was baked perfectly! Once I gotto the checkout counter I received the same phenomenal customer service [sorry - didn't catch his name] and the pizza was readyto go! I'll def be back!!! ???????? Read more

I had a unique experience at Zalat Pizza where a friend and I dined in for lunch. It wasn't very crowded around noon on a... Saturday which I thought odd. Before we could order, a couple of young men came in and took a seat at the bar followed by amother and her teenaged son. So let it be known that I bring a crowd. We wanted to try something new so we decided to split a14" Teriyaki Chicken pizza. For starters, we each had a side salad. I had mine with Italian which was sweet and tangy. The saladwas generous and cost $2.99 and comes with fancy greens and cherry tomatoes. The most perplexing thing about Zalat's is that themenus have no prices on them. I quickly learned that to discover the cost of any item you must first go to Zalat's website andactually place an order there then the price for the item selected is revealed. Seems a rather convoluted way to show menuprices. My first thought was if you have to ask about prices, maybe you should call Dominos. The 14" Teriyaki Chicken pizza setme back $17.99 which is dear but oh man, is it ever worth it. So first I must comment on the dough which tastes fresh andyeasty, and it's not too hard either. Our waiter brought us some house ranch to use for dipping sauce. It was delightfullydifferent and quite tasty. I usually skip eating the crust but to do so here would be a cardinal sin seeing as how I'm payingout the nose for it. Plus, did I mention the house ranch is very tasty? My only real complaint was that it took a real long timefor my pizza to arrive. Perhaps this was due to Zalat's being short-staffed, I cannot say. Before I left, I had to hit the men'sas is my habit whenever I am at an establishment I'm reviewing. That's when I saw their humorous restroom signage( see pic). Thesign on the door was exactly alike on both restrooms so I picked the furtherest one and I must've picked the men's because thetoilet was filthy. Not what you want to see in a restaurant that charges nearly $20 for a small pizza. Als Read more
