It was not the Hooks that I use to go to before 2017. The lemon pepper taste salty where as before it was so powdery. I order... wings & fries ???? Excellent prices, I got a chicken sandwich, fries, and a drink for about $8. This is great anywhere but in the Miami area was... incredible. The food was very good as well. The chicken was crispy and well flavored. The fries were decent but the seasoningwas nothing to write home about. There was an excellent vinegar based sauce to dip the fries in that made up for the mediocreseasoning on the fries. Read more
I don't know why their gizzard have the shape and texture they do but they're nothing like the gizzards we get at the grocery... store. My gizzards and catfish could've been cooked a little longer. The gizzards tasted like they were coated in a batter thatwasn't fully cooked. Read more

I tried the #1 Combo. I got the catfish with Shrimp. The meal came with fries, coleslaw and a drink. I was surprised that... they had regular Mountain Dew and Mountain Dew Voltage. I went for the Voltage. The counter person was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the catfish and shrimp. I didn't care much for the fries and coleslaw. It is unfortunate that they don't make afresh tartar sauce. They offer tartar sauce in pouches that was acceptable. The napkin supplied was practically useless. Read more
Great quick eats but slow in the drive thru. Over all good though and have 3rd party delivery apps like Uber eats and DoorDash.
