Without a doubt the worst Cuban food I've ever eaten. Never in my lifetime growing up in Miami have I had Cuban food that was... severely unseasoned and bland. I ordered the 39 dollar Skirt steak. The steak had to be the most greasest unseasoned piece ofmeat I've ever eaten. I literally had to soak up the oil with a napkin. As the picture showed the oil was so thick it puddled inone of the tray compartments. The black beans tasted straight from the can, That too had zero seasoning. The house salad wasfresh, but I didn't know Balsamic vinegarette was white and creamy, so I'll just go with they sent me a bland ranch dressing.Truly just a bad eating experience for me. Read more
Had an amazing experience at this location. We planned a baby shower and the staff was very accommodating from booking to our... actual dining experience. They sectioned off an arear for our family to enjoy our food and games. Elvis and Diego even helped uswith set up and Carla handled our large party with ease. The food was great !!! The waitress was tentative and offered up her favorite meals and they were NOT the most expensive item on... the menu . I was grateful for her top picks . Seemed like a great lunch spot lots of business people sitting in large groups .My server still gave me great attention . Well staffed with zero confusion . Service team worked well together . Food wasseasoned well no need to add hot sauce or salt , they did have a house blend hot sauce that tasted fine. The shrimp could ofbeen cooked longer but that’s just my preference . The service as soon we walked in was great. We sat down for maybe 5 mins. We ordered. The food came out in less than 15 minutes.... It was hot and very very flavorful. We asked for hot sauce and it is good too (lol). We even purchased the house salsa. Ireccomend this Cuban cuisine to everyone. When I come back for Fort Lauderdale I'm definitely coming back . Everything was a soggy inedible mess by the time i received. I ordered a steak sandwich and tamale through ubereats. The tamale... was basically sludge and the bread was wet and mushy. The only edible part of my meal was the oily overcooked steak. I hateasking for a refund but this was a huge disappointment and a waste of my money. I will never patronize this restaurant again norcan I recommend it to others based on this experience. There is no reason the food should have been in this condition. Read more
Fantastic restaurant. Great food. Not much else to say. If I lived near I would eat here multiple times a week. Beautiful table... bread, soft and fresh with a wonderful crust. The shredded beef was sublime. The rice and beans were without reproach. Icouldn't think of any way they can be improved. Plantains were nicely done too. Overall this was a great eating experience.Someone I ate with said the Cuban sandwich was not that good but the fries were perfect. Service was good.
