It was lousy flavor compared to most Pei Wei. Orange chicken was dry and when asked for extra sauce I was charged an extra $1... even after I complained. My spouses was very bland and under cooked. The clinker was dirty bathrooms even though they justopened. Read more
Called during down time hours. Call got answered with a polite seniored lady saying "She has people in front of her could I... please hold" I said of course. Waited 17 minutes until the call was dropped. I was on my way there anyway because I wanted justa wonton soup that wouldn't take much time. As I pulled in (still on hold) I see one lady and one gentleman in line. As I calledback I was told they got a "big rush" when they clearly just forgot I was on hold. I haven't eaten at Pei Wei in some time. I liked it.. but last few times was slightly disappointing. I was on the fence but my... son wasn't interested so we disappeared for a while. I got excited to see Pei Wei offered my favorite meal, Drunken Noodles. Iliterally crave this often. Then saw a coupon code for the meal to be just $7. Figured I'd throw another opportunity their wayto try my favorite meal. I watched reviews and it looked ???? and recipe from some alleged well known chef. Well, this will bemy last order. I have never had drunken noodles I didn't like. The chicken is the worst consistency (very rough and grainy) andI spit it out. Tried another piece just to see if I had bad luck on the first. Same awful consistency. Decided to pick thechicken out and focus on the noodles since I never met a noodle I didn't like. Well. That was dry with no sauce and literallythe meal is just not edible. Below is the pic advertised vs what was received. Actual item deprived of veggies and taste. Sadto see the quality of a place we used to frequent get so awful. We had a nice run, Pei Wei. Been here many times but the quality here is slipping. Flies inside are everywhere. It makes it difficult and to eat while... swatting flies. If they have this much of an insect problem in the dining room I wonder what's going on in the back room. Theyseriously need a visit from the exterminator. The food though tasted good, but the experience battling bugs while trying to eatruins the visit. Also I was upcharged for fried rice without being told it was going to be an extra charge. While ordering thecashier asked what kind of rice do you want with the chicken, white brown or fried? An extra cost was never mentioned for fried, it was just unexpectedly jammed onto the bill... Beyond rude and disrespectful staff. Walked in today, 12/6, at 7:16pm to pick up my food. When we ordered the food online it... said it will be ready by 6:56pm. We gave some extra time as we know this location is always slow (very slow). Walk in, don?t saya word, stand by the pick up area and the lady says ?It?s gonna be a while?. We state ?oh we?re here for a pick up order? , andthe lady answers ?it?s still gonna take a while?. Oh ok? sorry to both you, I guess? Guys, do better in training your staff.
