We were a family of 4 driving from New York City to Montreal and after some quick google search, I knew I had to stop by at this... family run restaurant near the Canadian border for fresh seafood. There was a deal for 2 lobsters for $32 which withoutthinking twice, we opted for it. Despite our inexperience in deshelling lobsters, the staff here were more than happy to guideus as to the deshelling process. The lobsters were extremely fresh and served steamed with butter. The fish & chips includedfresh cut potatoes with fresh crispy battered fish and fresh tartare sauce. As for the dessert, the crowning glory was thepeanut cake that our server recommended to us. Yes, it may not necessarily be a dessert place but the peanut cake was extremelyamazing that even though I am not a person with sweet tooth, I loved it. It?s a pity that I am not a frequent traveller acrossthis border area, otherwise I know I would be a regular at Mainely Lobster & Seafood. Nevertheless, I do look forward to my nexttrip here and as for anyone travelling between New York and Quebec, this place should be included as the meal stop. Read more
