This is hands down the most authentic , delicious Italian food prepared straight from what feels like the heart of Italy! Their... food is excellent, a cut above any other pizza out there. To make things even greater, their indoor seating in a tiny spaceexudes ambiance, the friendliest staff anywhere, offering a local neighborhood, familial feeling, and the quality of the foodis top notch. Cindy, the manager, has been there for years (I've been a fan of this favorite local dining spot for manyyears)... and she is as good as they get in every respect for excellent customer service and personality. This place went from 5 stars, to 3, and now 1. Looks like a remodel and maybe change of ownership took place. They didn't have... my fav by the slice, they no longer have fountain drinks, only cans. I got basic pepperoni slices since they didn't have myfav. It was the saddest slices I've had in a while. Low on toppings, entire areas of pizza with no toppings, no cheese, andbarely any sauce. I'm takings entire bites of plain bread. This might be the last time i eat here. Read more
Went with friends for first time, pizza and a burger. Asked server how the burgers were, she said good.My burger was terrible.... The worst I've ever had, anywhere. I asked for a cheeseburger, it came with bacon(which i don't eat) and no cheese. Server wasgoing to just bring a slice of cheese to me. I asked if it could be melted. Got my burger, cut a small piece to try it and ididn't like it. Meat tasted odd. I ate the fries which were good and my salad which was good.The Server noticed i didnt eat myburger, asked if it was ok, i said no. She then said, yeah sometimes they're not good. She did ask if i wanted something elsewhich i said no to. Surprised to see it on the check, $11.75. I didn't say anything and paid it. Half price at least would havebeen nice and covered their cost. I went in to order a pizza, no one greeted me and I even had to say hi to the girl at the counter and she ignored me and was... having a personal conversation with the co-worker, unprofessional and I will not be coming here anymore, thank you Excuse meyou're now calling me a liar, I don't lie , and I am a very sincerely nice individual that is why I said hi to give your servicenotice that there is a customer that would like to order. In any business it doesn't matter you always greet a customer and Itried to be nice by saying hi when I was not acknowledged, I think your reply is the basic attitude that I witnessed when I wentinto your business as a paying customer to order some food. I am not the only one apparently that had this situation with yourestablishment. You can take my review anyway you want and I sincerely hope you take it in a constructive manner to go overcustomer service with your team and have a greater experience for everyone in the future . If I'm not mistaken, this place has oscillated b/w a few regimes and name changes in my long time here in del rey, and the... quality did as well. Luckily, whatever has gotten in the water there the last couple years worked -- this might be the bestquality slice in the area objectively. Haven't eaten there, have only eaten slices, but they are incredible and are the closestthing to the Amicis I used to go to on Lincoln in Santa Monica -- which was my personal heaven. Quick, fairly prices, wellstaffed -- highly recommended. One of a few very strong pizza spots in the area, how lucky are we! Read more
Very friendly place with excellent staff, and delicious authentic Italian food. Visit on a Saturday for excellent musical... entertainment alongside your meal. Just had a refit to a new clean counter and shop! Not been in yet but worth visiting. Read more
