We couldn't have had a better time. All of our food was deliciously made and a unique pallete experience. The decor was so on... point we had to assume it was women-owned. Our waitress was bubbly and engaging; recommended a cranberry apple pie she had madeherself. I think there was a baby crying in the dining room but it sounded like a choir of angels because we had the pie in ourmouths. Read more

Delightful little atmosphere and delicious food. I had the chicken pot pie and it did not disappoint! Generous portion and... perfect lemony Brussels sprouts with pancetta on the side. Definitely enough for lunch tomorrow ? Cute bartender, too. Askfor Ellison Jude and she'll take great care of you! Read more

Under new ownership after the man who ran the tavern retired after years and years of serving a local population excellent food... and drinks. We were sad to hear that he would be retiring, and we were worried that the Red Horse would close for good. We wereso happy to learn that new owners had taken over the business. We were even more happy to find that the new owners remaincommitted to serving excellent food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner, and we had nocomplaints about the food or the quality of the service. We will definitely eat here again. It is good to note thatreservations are recommended for busy weekends. My husband and I came early in the evening and were seated with no troublebefore 5 o'clock, however while we were there the place really filled up. Read more

Had a very nice dinner. A little tight getting to the table, but not an issue once we were seated. The new menu seems good for... our first visit since it reopened. My friends raved about the Tavern Stew. Read more

We have been twice now. Once for dine in dinner and once for take out lunch. Both were very good. The dinner was for a date... nite with my wife and both our dishes were excellent. I have the steak and she had some seafood pasta. The meal was goodenough to have us call in some take out a couple weeks later when we where driving through town. The seating area is a littletight, but the staff was very nice and really care about the customer. We definitely found a new restaurant that we are goingto hit regularly and tell people how good it was. They have some growning to do, but I am looking forward to seeing them growand expand an already excellent restaurant. Read more

Got food from here recently with family. Wasn't the best. Could be a lot better if they weren't so heavy on the salt and used... other seasonings on the meat instead. Also I think chicken pot pie shouldn't really have bones in it. But hey there's potentialand the tavern is fairly new so hopefully they get better over time. Staff is friendly at least Read more

Wowzers! I am so satisfied after my lunch at the newly re-opened Red Horse Tavern. Everything, from the mocktails to dessert,... was absolutely delicious. We tried the Pineapple Mule and Blackberry Lime fizz from the mocktail list. Both were so refreshing. Can?t wait til they get their liquor license settled and can serve alcohol?I?m sure the cocktails will be equallydelightful! In all honesty, I wanted to try one of everything on the menu! Some of the highlights from our lunch: Tavern StreetCorn (so fresh), Watermelon Arugula Salad (with burrata cheese and pickled watermelon rind?yum!), the Honey Haute ChickenSandwich (with the fried chicken option) and (oh my stars!) the Banoffee Pie. Everything was outstanding with lots of flavor andunique twists that makes me excited to come back and try more menu items. Service was very personable and the dining roomupdates add nice color and personality to the space. Wishing the new owners lots of success. They?ll certainly be seeing meagain soon. The photos will never do the flavors justice, and I completely forgot to get a photo of the Street Corn before Iwolfed it down! ???? Read more
