I wish I would have taken pictures of everything else too. It not only looked good but tasted so good too. The food came out... steaming hot and flavorful. Even the rice had flavor which a lot of Mexican places seem to struggle with around here. We got thequeso dip, beef chimichanga, fish tacos, and fried ice cream (caramel). Oh my gosh, I haven't had Mexican food this good inawhile. And this was the best fried ice cream I've had at a restaurant. Typically I have to make my own to make sure it isseasoned enough. We were so excited to try this cute little establishment in downtown PG, however, it failed miserably to meet our expectations.... Let?s start with the salsa..watery and tasteless (unfortunately this is what I was looking forward to the most). The chips aredecent with just the right amount of salt, as are their taquitos with a crisp airy shell and satisfying crunch. The beans wereburnt to a crisp, mimicking a cow pie, and the rice was definitely from the good ole package of Uncle Ben. Save your pesos andgo somewhere else. Read more
GOOD FOOD! Just ate here for the first time and the food was soooo good! Right down to the warm, thin and crispy tortilla chips... and salsa which was also good. I had a Chimichanga Suprema which comes with beef, pork and chicken inside as well as cheese,topped with guacamole and sour cream. It was absolutely delicious (see pics for reference). I definitely recommend this place,service was good and friendly and we were served in a timely manner, can't ask for more. Read more
The main dishes had great flavor. The side dishes and appetizers were underwhelming. I arrived around 600ish with my family. We... were the only ones there. Service was slow. The staff seemed more concerned with cleaning the place up to close for the nightrather than making sure our drinks were full. Overall I'm still willing to give them another shot and come back because the foodwas delicious. Read more
So the sides we're terrible! The ceasar salad had a mound of pepper on it and came with ranch dressing.... But I don't think... that matters at all. It's a Mexican restaurant and you don't go here for the salad. It gets 5 stars because the chimichungawas amazing! It was perfectly crunchy, not smothered and mushy. The meat was great and the portions not too big. I leftcontent and not overfilled. Read more
