Went through the drive thru today. It moved along quickly. While eating my fries, I found this black curly hair. I'm a female... red head, no black hair here. Completely lost my appetite. Read more

Food is great. Quality is a lot better than most fast food. Doesn't taste greasy or leave you feeling heavy after. The glaciers... are amazing. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because they consistently get the soft chicken Tacos and soft beef Tacosmixed up. We have ordered chicken on multiple occasions and received beef. Not a huge deal just a little annoying Read more

I left Taco Amigo so happy! I drove an hour out of my way to eat here on my way home. They have the best hamburgers and fresh... peach shakes. And don?t forget the pink sauce for the french fries. They pick the peaches fresh every morning for the peachshakes. Read more

Taco Amigo: Eat or Pass? PASS. Overall Review: 2/5 Follow us on Instagram @fivestarfoodreview This local Utah restaurant is a... hard pass. We ordered the Big Amigo Burger, small fries, and the fresh Strawberry Shake. The Big Amigo was totally tasteless. There was some sort of mayo sauce pasted on the buns- it further added to the blandness of the burger. It was barely warm, andthe cheese wasn?t melted. The fries were okay. Bland. A little salty. They were a solid 2.5/5. We were so excited to try theirstrawberry shake- and we were soooo disappointed! The shake is 80% hard, frozen, strawberries and 20% milk. It was reallystrange! We hoped for a sweet treat and instead chewed through a large cup of frozen strawberries with a little bit ofmilk. Don?t even get us started on their ?spicy red sauce?. It?s straight tomato sauce and disgusting. We love supporting localUtah businesses, but we say PASS on this one. Read more

Solid American food, though burger buns are too large and pasted with sauce. The Mexican food ultimately tastes like it's out of... cans, but there are a few home runs. I used to order a large fry as a meal, itself! The fries are basically a cleaner (bettercooked/fresher) McDonald's fries (likely sourced by Idaho's company Lamb Weston). The fry sauce rocks and the shakes aregreat. Service is exceptional; they never appear to be short-staffed, so I would assume the company treats their employeeswell, too. Give it a try, sometime! Taco Amigos fries are amazing. I used them to make Carne Asada fries and they are better than most Mexican Places. I kind of... wish they added this to their menu. YUM. Read more

I will forever be a proponent and champion for Taco Amigo. Great local restaurant. Over the years I?ve always had friendly and... kind customer service. Their menu items are delicious, from their Baja melts to their cheeseburgers and glaciers. Their seasonalshakes are also delicious. I came here a ton when in high school and attempt to return as frequently as I can when visitingUtah. Go and support local business here, but also go to enjoy a delightful restaurant experience! This is definitely a Pleasant Grove spot when you're in Pleasant Grove, a MUST stop! I love their (seasonal) fruit shakes here... such as raspberry, peach, and strawberry shakes. What I really come here for are two things (besides the shakes): their friesand their bandido - a sort of Mexican pizza that takes me back to my nostalgic Taco Bell Mexican pizza (which no longer exists -QUE the tears!). And one of the familia recently commented that their fries taste JUST LIKE good o'l McDs fries, which I'm aHUGE fan of. Tried their fries recently....CONFIRMED. They taste just like McDs fries....and you get more of a serving oftheir fries here too....more bang for your buck! The ambiance and environment are always inviting, pleasing, and close to home.
