Excellent crispy, and moist fried chicken! The cornbread muffin was delicious, had a crispy top and plenty of honey butter to go... with it. The coleslaw was creamy with a slight tang. Came here for brunch and really enjoyed it. Everything we ate tasted amazing and made from fresh ingredients. A lot of flavor in... every bite. On top of that the staff was extremely friendly and kind. Definitely one of the best bistros I've been to. Food &coffee: The devilled eggs with the cured salmon, classic eggs Benedict and the bistro burgers all came out excellent, muchbetter than we were expecting. The hand crafted borgia coffee was delicious and even my wife who doesn't normally likecoffees/lattes even enjoyed it. Don't know why it took so long for us to dine here. We learned about this place on a FB page for dining In and Around Pleasant... Hill. Wife and I had a great meal. We were actually early for lunch opening but the Chef/ Owner seated us, and chatted with usabout the menu and any questions. A very nice man, and you could tell his heart is in his work. We decided on 3 appetizers(Jalapeño cheddar doughnuts, Pork belly sliders on Bao, Tempura green beans) and split a Bistro burger. Both waitresses keptchecking if we needed anything. Everything was really great. There's plenty on the menu for us to come back and try. Parking onCrescent Drive can be a challenge, but there's more behind the restaurant. There is also outside dining. I sincerely recommendeating lunch at the Crescent Bistro. Read more
I don't understand why this place isn't getting the recognition it deserves !!! The brunch was great, chicken and waffles..... delicious, the cocktail are so good. I can't wait to go back soon. Read more
Came here on a whim for my birthday lunch and we were so happy we did! Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Very different menu... selection and everything was AMAZING! Service was great, too. We will definitely be back! Read more
Lovely place with indoor and outdoor seating (with heating lamps). There's plenty of parking on the street or a parking lot... behind the restaurant. There's a lounge area with a fire pit right in front of the restaurant so you can head out there afteryou're done eating to relax. We only had dessert and coffee but everything on the menu sounds amazing so we will definitely beback to try more items. Our desserts were delicious and the coffee was really good ???????? The servers were very attentive andfriendly even though we got there almost at closing time. I would definitely recommend this place! Read more
Excellent new restaurant and bar at “downtown” Pleasant Hill. Very well laid out interior and patio setup. Staff and... bartender were great! Very helpful with the menu. The cocktails were incredibly creative and enjoyable. The small plates we hadwere also great. The Aleppo Grilled Shrimp with chorizo and hash was excellent! Dessert menu looked great, but we didn’t try.Definitely will be back to try more, including Lunch. Read more
Stumbled upon this place. Glad we did! Great service from our lovely and friendly waitress, enjoyed everything we ordered,... jalapeño cheddar doughnut which was good, tasty halibut and hangar steak, and the yummy to die for butterscotch pudding.
