Ordered the prime rib special with a side of brussel sprouts. They only pan fried the brussel sprouts and didn't cut the stems... off. Very hard and raw. Needed to be baked. For me I don't like the meat too rare so they did pan fry it for me to order. Friendly staff but severely understaffed. I don't drink so I don't know about the bar service. Read more

A nice sports bar with screens around the bar and dining area. I ordered the mushroom burger, which was very good and a decent... size portion as I was able to eat it all without boxing! Read more

Came here for TNF. Was surprisingly quiet, so we had our pick of the tables and took over the main screen area. Drinks were... delivered promptly, and our food was better than we expected. Will be back here for sure! Read more

Went in for a refreshment. Ordered a beer looked at menu, decided on fish and chips and substituted tater tots for fries based... on plate I saw nearby. Food arrived with Cole slaw as described. What a disappointment. Menu discription stated Sierra Nevadabeer battered fish? Nope. What I got was more like deep fried bread crusted fish. 3 pieces about the size of 2 fingers. NormallyI would have to order extra tarter source.... Not this time not enough fish to use half of a small condiment cup. When foodarrived I sat looking at my food for more then 10 minutes to see if server would notice my disappointment. She waited until Iran out of food and drink to ask how I was doing. I commented " check please". F- service and food. Read more

Worst thing about the place is blowhard patrons loudly holding forth about their fantasy football picks. But it's a bar with a... soft sports theme, so what do you want? Small enough to be intimate, large enough that it doesn't feel claustrophobic. The waitstaff have an excellent attitude are reliable, and prompt. They have *superb* fish and chips, which is one of the dishes that Irely on to indicate the overall quality of the food at a given restaurant. It's a very hard dish to get right, they hit it righton the button, and that skill and quality carries right on through to the rest of their food. I highly recommend this place ifyou want a bar & grill experience that is not homogenized and corporate. Read more

Unfortunately I think I may have gone in on a bad day. The drinks just weren?t up to par, and the food. The food tasted old. ... Ordered what was supposed to be a whisky sour and it came out on a tall beer glass?weird? Then noticed as we were eating thebartender had their foot on the counter where the alcohol was. Honestly. This was enough for us to not go back. I hate leavingnot good reviews. Everyone was nice, but unfortunately nice doesn?t always mean good or quality. I?m sure their meals aregreat. Appetizers. Not so much. Read more

Magoos is the entire package. I come here with friends for our religious breakfast club every Saturday. The greatest service... provided by Molly the hostess with the mostes. She is mostly what makes Magoos the best environment that it is. She very funnyand on top of what needs to be done. I've seen her handle the bar at almost full capacity and not a single person was forgotten. The foods amazing too. It's definitely a place to be. Read more

My family said god things about Magoo?s Grill, so we met there for dinner on their famous Prime Rib Thursday. We sat outside... where there is a small patio area that was thankfully heated. The food was pretty good, however the service was lacking. Irealize there are many establishments that are short-staffed, but we really felt ?forgotten? due to being outside. We asked forhot water, I think when they first came to hand us the menus, and we were brought an empty mug with a lemon wedge. It took us30+ minutes of waiting with our menus before we finally got up and went inside to ask if we could place an order for food. Atsome point mid-meal we were told someone would bring out the hot water. By the time we finally ordered food and finished eating1.5 hours later, we still had no hot water. When we got our check, the wait staff apologized for not ever bringing the hotweather, and then offered that they ?removed it from the bill.? I honestly don?t recall the last time a restaurant charged fora cup of hot water - especially after spending $100+ for 4 people. Despite the issues, the food was good and so I?m stillgiving it 3 stars. Read more
