One of the last locations in the Bay Area, Rubio?s offers delicious Mexican classics at reasonable prices with large portions.... Their menu includes favorites such as tacos, nachos, burritos, and churros. I especially recommend the chicken nachos for only$10.99, a steal in today?s economy. They have plentiful indoor and outdoor seating with friendly service. I love that theyfeature Vanilla Coke, which is a very hard-to-find product. I am so glad their remarkable salsa bar is back! Today I placed an order through doordash. Firstly it got delivered way too late, food was cold. Then I found out that there was... bacon on my shrimp tacos?! I?m religious and it?s forbidden to eat pork. This should not have happened even not by accident. Read more

This place use to do gd fish tacos but not anymore . I went there on 8/25 when they just opened up & order / especial fish tacos... to go & they gave me some dry out over cook fish that I couldn?t even eat & cost me over $10 . Never again will I go back there. Pitiful Read more

Since the closing of the Livermore store, I?ve had to drive to Tracy and Pleasant Hill for Rubio?s. The customer service at... Pleasant Hill is noticeably better than that of Tracy?s. The food was also prepared much faster. I always get the Shrimp Trio,so I noticed right away that Pleasant Hill?s wasn?t as good. I dug up the photos and added them to this post. It took a few moments for the staff to acknowlege me when it wasn't very busy, but when they did, they were very friendly. I... ordered the 2 taco plate of the fish taco especial and got an agua fresca (mango lime). The tacos were amazing! Both crunchy andflavorful! Everything I think a fish taco should be - especially with the chili sauce. The chips were nicely crunchy, but hadan aftertaste of rancid oil that couldn't be hidden by salsa or beans.
