First off, if you’re looking for an entertaining and unique culinary experience, your search is over. Kimono provides that and... so much more, all at super-reasonable prices. I was blown away by the amount of food they give you! Here are the pros - nocons!????????: • excellent, authentic Japanese food • friendly and fast service (our chef was Elliot and herocked!????????????????????????) • unique presentation (check the photos - blew my mind) • reasonable prices for a ton offood (everyone at my table brought food home) • fun for kids, out of town visitors and especially locals (we saw city councilmembers at the table next to us! • sashimi and sushi were fresh and tasty • tempura was crispy and light. Just perfect.???????????? • evert was super clean, the grills, tables, staff and even the windows. They really care here, and it shows frombeginning to end. TLDR: go here for lunch or dinner. First teppanyaki experience and it was worth it. Friendly staff. Great tasting food especially the benecia roll and crunchy... salmon roll. The server also gave us free ice cream for our anniversary :) Definitely coming again Read more

We had a wonderful teppanyaki dining experience with our 3 kids (all under 12)! The kids were able to order off the kids... teppanyaki menu, while my husband and I ordered off the adult menu. Kids loved all their food!! It’s a must to add the friedrice - the garlic butter is so delicious! Just know it takes about an hour from ordering when the teppanyaki show begins beforeyou can actually eat. The menu is huge, sushi, Japanese entrees and full drinks menu. For a party of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) totalcost of the meal plus 20% gratuity = $242 (includes drinks for all). Read more
The experience was okay. We had to wait almost an hour pass a reservation on Mother's Day which was kind of strange for the fact... that it was not busy. I definitely understand the need to sit a full table for the, but I felt like we should have been due toour reservation. I serve it was wonderful she did the best she could with the circumstances presented to her but it took foreverfor the chef to come out and start cooking. We need told him my boyfriend has a shellfish allergy and he started cooking hischicken at same spot as my shrimp. He was friendly enough to fix the problem, but my boyfriend was kind of concerned about hisfood. The food was good I definitely think it's a knockoff of Benihana's but with the same price but not same quality. It's abrand new place so is very nice inside I definitely feel like maybe I'll come back and try the restaurant experience and checkout how their Sushi was. But overall it was okay couldn't get more than that. Read more
My first time visiting and found Kimono Japanese Restaurant. Beautiful entry-very large, clean fish tank. I ordered the filet... mignon and it was cooked to perfection. I also had chicken fried rice and a dragon roll. The food was delicious! I also had oneof their signature cocktails strawberry sake tini. Was perfectly made...i had to order another.
