The chicken is very moist and juicy! The rice is perfectly cooked, never dry. And their soup helps balance the chicken and rice... dish asking with their sauce. Read more

3 stars. A chain restaurant it seems. Basic chicken menu . We had 3 originals and 1 veg without rice. Clean and plain chicken,... that?s where the ginger sauce comes in. Simple and basic light lunch. No frills. As always post wherever your palate takes you. Read more

TLDR: the only location where they will NOT allow you to buy what you want. I have been to the locations in SF (Kearny,... Fillbert and 2nd Street) and the staff there have always been great. I can order the chicken rice with dark meat as many as Iwant. I have once placed a large orders with the same thing and the staff have been accommodating. Not so for this location. When I tried to order chicken rice with dark meat, they told me they ?do not have enough?. At first I thought they ran out, butafter a few times of ordering on other days, they kept saying the same thing. Finally, when I went there, I asked them why Icannot place more than 2 orders of chicken and rice with dark meat? The staff was rude and told me something along the line of?we only have limited number?. What is that supposed to mean? If they ran out, I understand. But they put a limit on certainitems without advertising that? That is like saying you can only buy two MacDonald?s burger with cheese or two Tacos with sourcream because they ?don?t have enough?. Keep in mind that in the OTHER THREE locations, they do not put this limit. If thislocation kept running out, then why not make more? In this kind of business, you can look at your past sales and adjust yourinventory accordingly. Given the COVID-19 global pandemic, where customers? option for dining in is limited, I would NOTrecommend going to this location because you will be disappointed that you CANNOT order what you WANT. Go to the other 3locations and you will be happier. TIPS: The chicken rice is very similar to Hainan Chicken rice (????), a staple of Malaysianand Singaporean. So if you are craving similar chicken rice in the Pleasanton area, go to any Malaysian / Singaporean restaurant(Banana Garden, Basil Delight, etc) and you can get the same thing. Read more

I had the pleasure of dropping by this little hole in the wall going home and man do I regret not finding this place sooner. Its... rather small but the smells coming from inside were amazing. I ordered the original, which had the chicken and rice with thisamazing garlic and ginger sauce and a side of veggies. You won't regret coming here. The flavors were absolutely perfect andthe containers they store the food in is environmentally friendly. Read more

Absolutely delicious, I practically inhaled my serving of chicken rice. Similar to hainanese chicken rice or singapore chicken... rice, the thai chicken rice features moist chicken over fragrant chicken rice, slices of cucumber, topped with cilantro andcomes with a side serving of chicken broth and mixed soy sauce condiment. The soy sauce mix contains minced ginger and bean. Thebasic chicken rice serving is $10.95 with a mix of dark and white meat, if you request all dark meat, it will cost $1 extra. Theplace only seats 12, so it is mainly a take-out place. There are health conscious options such as tofu and brown rice. I think ican eat this twice a week. ???? Read more

Food was great! Definitely a Thai spin on the traditional chicken and rice plate. The chicken meat was a good amount. The white... breast meat was a little on the dry side, but it was very lean and the sauce was fantastic! The habanero sauce they have addedjust the right amount of spicy kick as well. The accompanying soup was also delicious and light. Just what I needed on a rainyday. I also appreciated the fact that their packaging was mostly compostable. That's not often seen outside of the SF/Oaklandareas. The only downside is the tiny size of this restaurant. I ended up taking my food to go because there were no seatsavailable when I came at lunch on a Saturday. The place seats 12 max if everyone doesn't mind the close proximity of seating. Read more

If this dish can be this good in a chain, how good is it in Thailand? Succulent rice topped with tender, delicate chicken, and... broth that's like the best wonton soup. Only 14 seats inside, but it moves quickly and makes excellent takeaway. Drinks includeThai iced tea and coffee, cane sugar Coke, Fanta, and Sprite, milk soda, and coconut water, all $3. The sriracha sauce is notthe rooster style, less sweet, and the habanero sauce is excellent. Read more
