The food was terrible. This was the worst Greek Food I ever had. It was very salty and non-authentic. The Saganaki was soupy.... Ended up leaving most of the food we ordered on the table. I wouldn't even bring it home for my dog. Read more
The typical Greek food was good, fast and reasonably priced. I was surprised by the inclusion of the fries inside the pita, but... it was tasty. They accommodated my request to sit in a corner away from other guests and most staff wore COVID masks. Servicewas great. Read more
Wow! Went from the best Greek salad to the absolute worst!! I have been getting Greek Salads to go here for years, but tonight?s... was soggy, already dressed with only soggy croutons. No grape leaves or peppers or anything. Only soggy gross lettuce andsoggy bread chunks. I was do disappointed. Is there a new (horrible) chef or is that an attempt to save money???? I will goback one more time, but I will make sure to double check the salad before I leave. Read more
We ordered catering for a small outside party of 13 people last night. The food was fabulous; everyone raved about it. The... order was delivered perfectly on time with all the details we asked for taken care of (feta cheese on the side for the salad,utensils, etc.). What I most appreciated was how, when I placed the order, the catering person helped me figure out exactly howmuch I needed, so there was plenty of food but I didn't overspend. This is my second time ordering catering from LefterisPleasantville and I was highly satisfied both times. Read more
The food is good, and we order fairly often but a few times the order has been way off, and my most recent delivery I scheduled... for 7:15 PM and it arrived at 6PM. I'm glad I was home to get it, but I don't see the point in selecting a delivery time if thefood will arrive over an hour early. Had to put in in the oven to keep warm so everyone who would be eating would not have coldfood. UPDATED: I did get a call and they offered to remake our order, which was very much appreciated! I am new to the area, and I'm thrilled to have found this Greek restaurant. The Greek salad was exceptional and included... dolmades, even! The spinach pie was also fantastic in addition to being larger than I'd expected. And I got a gyro to go, whichI thoroughly enjoyed the next day at home. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. The service was as excellent as thefood. Read more
