Randomly stumbled upon this gem with a friend of mine. We were in the mood for comfort/bar food and Southern Table did just that... for us. We ended up sharing plates that we ordered — Fried Green Tomatoes (10/10), Mexican Spring Rolls (7.75/10), and Mac nCheese (5/10). Fried green tomatoes were phenomenal, also suggest trying with ranch and hot sauce — really good combo. SpringRolls were okay, nothing too crazy about them but not mad that I ordered them either. Mac n Cheese was mid, would not orderagain, however breadcrumbs give it that pizazz flavor you wish it had more of. I went here for brunch and really enjoyed the food. The place is small and popular, so expect to find a crowded dining area... inside and perhaps a wait to be seated if you don't have a reservation. The brie pretzel with fig jam appetizer was deliciousand pretty filling all on its own. The biscuits and gravy were excellent as well. I'll be coming back here in the future to trymore of the menu. This place was highly recommended by a coworker and I was not disappointed. Lets start with the food. The food was absolutely... delicious. We ordered the seafood tower, The drinks were great. I had the Lilly Belle. The ambience is very lively. Thisplace is definitely good for groups. The place was very busy on a Thursday night. And the service was great. Kyle was veryattentive but not in a annoying way. He was very pleasant and friendly. I have recommended this place to all my friends. Icannot wait to go back and try other things on the menu. What an extraordinary restaurant! At first I was a little apprehensive because of the prices, however, after dining there I will... say it's worth every penny! My friend and I had lunch and we were blown away by the service, atmosphere, and delicious food. Ihave an infant and our server, Melanie, brought over a high chair and a cup of water with a lid and straw without us asking. Sheeven told us which restroom to use because it had a changing table in it. Melanie was extremely friendly, asked us if we had anyquestions, gave great recommendations and checked on us many times. The food was delicious. We ordered the Asador Corn to shareand that was incredible (wood fired served off the cob - huge plus). The watermelon salad was a must!! It was so refreshing. Iadded grilled chicken on the side and it was juicy and tender. I could tell it was higher quality than what is served at mostrestaurants. My friend ordered the hot chicken sandwich (on lettuce instead of the bun because they didn't have a GF option)with a side of fries and that was tasty. I highly recommend this place!! My wife really LOVES this place and we have been here multiple times over the years. On our most recent visit, we managed to get... a seat at a high top by the bar on a Friday night without a reservation. This was an excellent spot as it was quiet andsecluded, but still comfortable. This place really has a phenomenal menu, but I really enjoy the variety of cocktails. Not manyplaces have a Paper Plane on the menu -- one of my personal favorites! My wife had the chicken & waffles and I had the braisedshort rib. Despite how busy this place was, the food came out so quickly. Both meals were delicious and the wait staff wereexcellent. Busy brunch atmosphere. Good food. Age of customers are wide range, babies and up. Service is not the quickest but atmosphere... makes up for it. Parking lot can get full quickly, then you have to find metered street parking. I would recommend. Read more
Great lunch on Saturday. Had read about the margaritas, burgers & fried chicken. We had all 3, plus a Manhattan, and there were... no disappointments. The margarita was fresh & just strong enough to taste & enjoy the Altos tequila. The Southern Manhattan wasalso perfectly assembled, love Angels Envy Rye! Bulleit Burger was a bit saucy/messy, but had great flavorful and cooked rightto order. The Chicken & Waffles were terrific. Cane here on a whim with a friend for brunch. Absolutely liked the food. Very tasty, the drink was made perfectly. Not too... crowded for a Saturday, was seated right away. Clean space, decent prices,parking was a little tight , but overall, greatexperience. I'd definitely go there again Read more
