What an awesome little place. Service was GREAT! They were very on top of everything and about checking back on us. We... ordered the carne asada and carne tampiquena and Camarones. It was super busy when we arrived. We were told that it would be a 10-15 minute wait by 1 person, but another person took the... next 2 people that came in right to a table. Honest mistake on her part since the guy we talked to didn?t tell her we werewaiting for a table. Everything after that was great! The margaritas were fantastic and so was the food. Everyone who came toour table was very pleasant and attentive. We had lots of leftovers and they were good reheated today for lunch. We willdefinitely be back. Read more
The restaurant has a nice motif. The menu is a typical Mexican type cuisine. Prices are comparable to other similar sites in... town. Yet the food seemed to be underseasoned and somewhat bland. The. Chimichonga cuato only had the side of refried beans. Thenachos platter had lots of lettuce and small amount of chips that became soggy under the pile. Even though the place was typicalnothing gave me a reason to come back. The wait staff appeared to be short of people. Only 2 touch's from the waiter to take theorder and give the bill. Ernesto and his team catered our wedding reception and everyone LOVED the food! Ernesto worked with us on our desired menu and... we ended up having carnitas, chicken, beef, beans, fajita veggies, rice, tortillas, chips, salsas and all the toppings!Everything was delicious and we had so many guests come up to us and tell us they loved the food. The afternoon of ourreception, our friends picked up the food from the restaurant and brought it to our venue. Ernesto had chafing pans for the hotfood, and we transferred the rest into decorative bowls. Great pricing, and we had lots of leftovers. Excellent restaurant that was happy to take our reservation of 24 people with only an hour or two notice. The staff was so kind... and worked very hard to get our drink and food orders out to us. Naturally it took a little while to feed 24 people, but theykept the chips and salsa coming and we all had a wonderful time. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to others. It waswonderful that they had options suitable for my vegan preferences. I ordered the veggie fajitas with no cheese, sour cream, orrefried beans and it came out steaming hot. It was waaaay more than I could eat. Of course the chips and salsa were wonderful,too (I couldn't stop eating them!)!Would happily return next time I find myself in the area. Read more
