We just had one of the best meals EVER at The Tasty. The service is incredible, and the food is exceptional- like nothing else.... These folks are so talented. We’ve been going there for the last 2-3 years and it just gets better each time. We reallydon’t know why anyone would eat anywhere else!!!! Ed and Sue Read more

Great food, cocktails and service from Maria! The restaurant was able to accommodate our party of 6 adults, 3 kids on their... outdoor patio on the side of the building, set amongst Boston Ivy plants which made the evening extra special. Tuna Tartare wasexcellent. Highly recommend! Read more

In town for a wedding and staying at an Airbnb on Chilton. The owners of the Airbnb recommended The Taste so we went to check it... out. Phenomenal. The alley seating wasn’t open so we sat out front. The weather was great and so was the atmosphere. To drinkI ordered Son of a Peach and my wife ordered You Can Dance. We were both very pleased with our cocktails. To eat we split theduck dumplings — our first time eating duck and they were great. We also ordered a bowl of Nori fries. They were also verygood and for ten bucks you get a very generous portion in a very large bowl. They were tasty. Not sure what the few peoplewho’ve left negative reviews were thinking, The Tasty is awesome. Read more

We finished an evening of gourmet grazing in Plymouth at The Tasty. Excellent service. Lovely outdoor seating in the brick... alleyway beside. Started with Tuna Tartare, but far from typical, with compressed watermelon and amazing fresh herbs includingmint. Nori Fries--shoestring style--were a lovely complement. And then the Tempura Cod: very nice coconut rice and some freshhot peppers, just subtle enough to provide a little kick. Read more

Enjoyed the environment! Busy night on a cold snowy evening. Sat at the window bar enjoying the people passing by. Food and... drinks were just right and the service was wonderful! I'd definitely go again. Read more

Moved its way up the list of my favorite places in Plymouth very quickly! Every experience we have had here has been great,... awesome food and friendly staff. The Nori Fries, chicken wings and duck dumplings are a must. Their noodles were very good andwe want to come back on noodle night! Steak was cooke perfectly and the cream sauce was amazing. The salmon was fresh and fullof flavor. Read more

We went on Noodle Night and it was a disappointment. The sticky ribs are sticky and well cooked but the flavor ends up tasting... like salty soy sauce than a balanced glaze. The pickle chips are surprisingly good though. The Thai beef and pork has greatflavors but when they say egg noodles, they mean pasta-from-the-box linguine and when they say beef and pork, they mean a littlebit of ground mixed meat. The Dan Dan noodles also had a good flavor and sauce but beware that they use rice noodles insteadand that the noodles may be undercooked as mine was. There's basically no Tofu (so if you don't like Tofu, don't worry, you'dnever know there was supposed to be any). I also like the blend of vegetables they used. However, you'd be happier with Pad Thaifrom any other restaurant for half the price. Our waitress was nice and if not for the busy other tables, we probably wouldhave gotten better attention and been able to fix the Dan Dan Noodles before my partner had finished eating his food. I wantedto try the dessert but I couldn't make my partner wait even longer as I finally finished my meal. If the prices were halved, this would be OK but at $18 a plate for box noodles, you'd be much happier going to any hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. Iwant to come again and try it on a different day but this was just disappointing. Read more
