We met family at Bode's for dinner. Everyone loved their corned beef sandwich, with a shared order of onion rings. We also had... a BLT with egg and avocado. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Our food arrived in a short time and was delicious! The sandwichsizes are very generous and most of us took home leftovers. I've had carry out from Bode's as well, and it was just as great. This place is Absolutely Awesome. Our beautiful waitress, Olivia Great Service ????! Not only did she keep our beverages full,... she recommended menu items that were very delicious! The cooks, Cass & Jonny were Awesome as well, the corned beef mm mm good!!The strawberry waffle, had just the right amount of crunch on the outside and softness in the inside. I ordered a pastrami sandwich with fries and coleslaw through Grub Hub. The delivery person was right on time, with hot food.... The only reason I?m giving this 2 stars. The sandwich was loaded with pastrami and there was a heaping pile of french fries.Unfortunately when I took my first bite of the sandwich I got a piece of meat that was tough and gristly. Figuring it was just asmall bit I ate just some meat without the bread. It was so tough I spit it out. Also it tasted more like corned beef withpeppercorns than pastrami. We made a 2nd visit with the kids and enjoyed the... exemplary service, mouth watering food, and all around terrific staff. NO ONE BEATS BODE'S!!... OMGGGGGGG!! Where do I begin??!!This place is truly a gem. My fiancé, the kids and I were on the way to OH and we stopped in for breakfast. When I tell youthat I'm so glad we visited BODE'S again because this spot is amazing! This was the BEST breakfast I'd had in quite some time! Iordered the Belgian waffle, country potatoes, eggs, and bacon and each bite melted in my mouth. My fiance had the catfish,country potatoes, boiled eggs, and rye toast. The kids had chocolate chip Belgian waffles with bacon. The entire staff arealways friendly making you feel like family. Used to come here 25 years ago with my Grandpa for French Dips. Stopped by this evening for a boxcar reuben. It was absolutely... amazing!! Tender and grilled to perfection. I didn't even make it out of the parking lot before I was digging in. Will be backwith my husband. Read more
