My absolute favorite place to get a pizza, and Especially a Detroit style pizza. I have several times tried to make the same... pizza at home and have failed. Cannot go wrong with buddies to either eat in or take home. Read more

What happened to good old buddy's pizza?! Service a great with a very pleasant staff. Salad was as I remembered it, tasty and... fresh. The pizza. Oh man. What happened here? We ordered 4 different pizzas. All coming out the same way. Hardly any sauce.Crust wasn't very crispy, with some pieces being undercooked. Not hot at all, which made the cheese kind of rubbery. And itwasn't busy at all. This was the Plymouth location, so I hope the other locations are better. I would hate to see a greatDetroit tradition slip away. C'mon Buddy's! Read more

We're done. We've been trying to like this location since they opened; hoping they would get their synergy on after being open a... bit. I'm tired of getting pizza's under cooked- too much sauce or too little sauce, lukewarm... we will order from the otherlocations now or somewhere else. I will add- do they deserve 1 star per say? No. But the overall average is too high. Read more

I hate not giving Buddy's a 5-star rating, but this specific location seemed more like a modern diner to me. My friend and I... stopped in for some salad, pizza and bread. Food was as great as all other buddy's. And the service was wonderful. But the placewas cold and extremely loud. Could barely have a conversation. I found myself missing the cozier, warmer atmosphere with all thebooths at the previous Buddy's I went to. I guess, my advice for this one would be to order carry out. Read more

A Detroit/metro Detroit classic and home to some of the best Detroit-style pizza one can find. Fun themed interior in a clean... space. The bar area looked pretty nice as well though we were seated at a booth. Read more

So I was in the Plymouth area to visit my Bro and to have dinner with him I said pizza is fine my Bro mentioned buddy’s so I... was like heck yeah!!! (A couple of years ago I was in Detroit and tried it and it was awesome) so we got 3 pizzas 2 sides and asubpar ice berg lettuce salad for $100 and got some crummy pizzas with a frugal amount of toppings and why is the sauce justsplattered on the pizza so unevenly it’s like they had a ladle and raised it high and poured not the quality I had rememberedhonestly if my super hungry boys after a wrestling meet thought it sucked and wished it were dominoes it’s not worth the timeor $. Dough was good and food was prepared at a reasonable time as well as being hot. Read more
