Met my cousin-in-law here for brunch and was told to sit anywhere. I hadn?t been here before, so I had no idea there were a... couple patios. I sat down and was surprised I was the only person there. Then someone else walked in and the server saidsomething about the patio, I was like, oh, there?s a patio? She said there were two and I was welcome to move outside. Which Idid. That?s where all the people were! Lol. Sat out there and it seemed we were forgotten. Took a while for her to come back totake my CIL?s drink order. Then we sat about 30 minutes or more before a food order was asked about. Then, skip ahead to gettingthe food, came back very little to check on us and kept forgetting take-out boxes. Not sure if that?s the vibe here, slowerpaced service, because it seems to be a running theme in the reviews. Luckily, we were not in a hurry and we enjoyed talking asmuch as we could. Now, the food. It was excellent! I ordered a club sandwich and substituted a side of fruit for the coleslaw.It also came with house potatoes, which are tiny potato wedges that are seasoned to perfection. It was very yummy. My CIL gotthe creme brûlée French toast and it looked amazing! She said it was delicious. The pop was flat though. Place was pretty cool. Went with the intention of getting some breakfast but decided to grab the Mac and cheese with chicken... added on. I was not disappointed and it was enough to feed two people. Read more
First time going here since it re-opened. Took around 15 minutes for a server to come to the table to ask for drink order.... Kitchen was pretty slow and when the food came you can tell it was sitting under a heat lamp for a while. I used to love thisplace and was pretty disappointed by service and food as well. Read more
We used to love Honey Hole before the pandemic and were very bummed when it had been closed for so long. Since it's been open... again, we've been back twice and been severely disappointed. I will not be going back any time soon. Service has never beentheir strong point but has gotten even worse. The hostess sat us outside without even asking if we wanted to be inside oroutside. The waitress was fairly fast to collect our drink orders but after that she passed our table at least a half a dozentimes without checking to see if we were ready to order food. Eventually she came over and asked if we were still doing okay,not even asking if we were ready to order. We were about ready to just get up and leave, had we not ordered drinks already. Thefood left much to be desired. My husband ordered the perch tacos and it was literally just fried perch on cold, stale, corntortillas. The side Mexican Rice was pretty good but had a hair in it that was very visible. The mac and cheese used to be myabsolute favorite around, but now that they don't bake it in the skillet dish, it doesn't stand out anymore, though it is stillgood. Overall, they still have a far way to come to be a favorite of anyone in the area. It seems like they focus a lot ontheir drinks and atmosphere, but really need to focus on the quality of their food and service first. Giving three stars because the prices are unreasonable for the quality/taste of the food, the portions size. The food took... slightly longer than expected but the vibe of the place was nice. I?d rather come here for a beer and burger definitely notbreakfast. Read more
Food is super yummy!! It did take a while to get it but I assume it is because of being short staffed. Would recommend getting... there early because it did get very busy. Went for breakfast and I want to go back and try the lunch food. Read more
I stopped in for brunch and it?s such a cute place. The food was alright but the drinks were amazing. I had an old fashioned and... Bloody Mary. I highly recommend trying any of their bloody Mary?s, they?re delicious. I will def be stopping here again. Ihighly recommend. Read more
