How often do you come across a mac-n-cheese themed restaurant? I've been alive 33 years and this was a first for me. I got the... taco mac and my wife smashed on some of the ramen.. good lawd. We left as happy as a couple of drunken clams... because weshared a $6 pitcher of PBR cuz WHERE ELSE DO YOU FIND A PITCHER OF BEER FOR $6 IN THIS ECONOMY?!! If you own this place, greatjob. If I lived around here, I'd be back weekly. If you were the awesome young lady working around noon today, I hope theowners see this and give you a lil bonus or high 5 or something... you're awesome too. Thanks for the bomb food. Xoxo Read more
I don?t like to leave reviews often, but in this case it deserves one. I ate here tonight less than 20 minutes ago, and I can?t... even express how disappointed I am. I placed an online order, and was forced to leave a tip before I even experienced how theservice was which was already annoying?When I got home I was underwhelmed by the fact that they gave me a large container withall the toppings crammed in including the noodles at the very bottom. When I dumped it into a larger bowl there was very littlebroth not even enough to coat the noodles, therefore leaving the noodles with zero flavor and honestly tasted of plastic orsomething. The noodles were borderline inedible and honestly the broth was cold and did nothing for the toppings and had noflavor at all, I?ve had better instant ramen. I am ordering food elsewhere because it just isn?t appetizing at all. I amincluding a picture of the tiny bit of broth with the noodles removed to show how little broth there was as well as the plainnoodles that had zero flavor. Don?t recommend *edited to reflect the owners response, imaging announcing a persons tip amountpublicly and attempting to Shame a customers tip for a TO GO order for not wanting to tip before a service is received. Orinstead of addressing a possible concern or mistake you attempt to blame the taste and lack of broth on customers knowledge ofRamen and their lack of looking at pictures, which I did. Explaining away every issue instead of attempting to rectify asituation and see if something could have been wrong is another major reason why I do not recommend this establishment. Serviceless than a cup of broth to cover that amount of noodles with no flavor isn?t reasonable, and the way this review was handledisn?t either. This place is awesome! Huge variety of comfort food + vegan options! The salads are awesome, always fresh and consistent.... Another favorite of mine is the vegan Mac! Awesome staff, awesome food, super comforting environment. Definitely check outGroovy Noodle if you?re in the area. Read more
Buffalo Mac is my go-to but today I went for a burrito. Fire. Made right in front of you with fresh stuff. Liked that instead of... shredded cheese they use their cheese sauce. Wanted more salsa tho, but asked and got a full cup to dip my burrito in for free,absolutely lit. Read more
I eat here multiple times a week. Literally everything on the menu is delectable. The service is flawless and personable. I wish... I could eat here every day. The ambience is comfortable and chill. The vegan mac is my favorite item on the menu, I recommendadding jalapeños & sriracha. The beer on tap is always fresh and delicious too ~ Read more
The kimchi Mac and cheese was one of the best things I?ve ever had. Amazing flavour AND texture with the scallions and kimchi... within the pasta. Good price. Very filling. Fast service too. Would definitely go again! Read more
The Groovy Noodle... what can I say, except it appeals to both my Asian and Southern heritages! Any place that will let me... order (Day 1) pork belly Ramen and deep fried Mac and cheese balls is gonna be one of my favorites. And it is! The Ramen wasSOLID, and I must admit... I didn't expect it to be. Broth was very tasty, with the pork belly knocking it out of the park. Ithink that if the broth was hotter, the ingredients were placed in the bowl first, then the piping hot broth on poured on top,it would've been even better... but really, that would ruin the presentation of things. Just my opinion here! I have eaten atrestaurants from Maine to San Diego, Seattle to Miami, and Wilmington, NC to San Francisco... and this is the only place I'vewent back to for lunch two days in a row. As such, (Day 2) the sharp, creaminess of the mac and cheese, mixed with other complexflavors in my Korean Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese was just the best. Sarah, one of the owners I assume, brought out acomplimentary container of BBQ sauce, saying that's how they ate it... and it was a great addition! Granted, I only used itsparingly but what a great call! The fried shitake mushrooms were also perfection; I have eaten shitakes all my life but deepdried, dipped in a horseradish (?) dip was new and genius! The food says it all, but they also have several selections of beeron tap as well, so that takes them over the top. Sarah and friends do a fantastic job, period and you would do yourself aninjustice by skipping out on this wonderful establishment. I'd give six stars if I could! Read more
Holy cow!!! I can?t say enough good things about this place!! My son and I stopped in for lunch today; I got the chicken bacon... ranch mac and he got the classic Mac and cheese. The cheese sauce is so creamy and delicious, noodles were cooked perfectly, andthe women working there were so kind! We will definitely be back! Read more
