I went here tonight with my husband. I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes. When the waiter final came to the table. The grill wasn’t... hot enough too cook. The bathrooms were a mess and toilet paper ran out. This place is truly horrible and should be shut down.The manager was not prepared and made excuses as to why the service was horrible. If I could, I would erase the experience I had at this restaurant from my memory!! I visited with my family for dinner. For a... 8:15pm confirmed reservation we were seated at 8:45. The food was served at 9:50, which by the way was average and I wasn't evenserved my whole meal. They completely ignored my repeated request to serve my rice. And in the end it was not served atall. Lastly my child cried in tears because they forgot to serve him completely! His food came at 10:20 pm and that too I had toget up, go to the kitchen and ask for his order. The staff was unbelievably rude, telling me that I have attitude issue. Believeme , for a 8:15pm reservation, if a child under 10 is served food at 10:20pm any parent would be upset. Imagine the frustration;me and my child had one of the worst dining experiences ever and the staff goes like, "oh we will take off kid's meal from thecheck.." for which we couldn't care less by that time. The experience was emotionally traumatic for my kid. Never again!Ever!! And the restaurant was dirty!! The floors had spilled food everywhere, the windows had food splattered on them. Verynauseating. There was very little wait time to get seated, but it took a very long time for the chef to arrive at our table, i would say... around 30 mins.. The only thing that is frustrating is the wait time, this restaurant is currently understaffed. When it comesto the food you need to order the entire main course at once, then the chef arrives at your table to cook it, you can alwayscustomize the spice levels, the pan fried veggies were very tasty & yakisoba noodles were really nice. This was my 1st visit but definitely not my last. The ambiance was very nice, staff was so pleasant and the food was fresh and... tasted good. You do need a reservation which we had. It's family friendly but also cozy enough for date night. I really enjoyedthe experience. Read more
We had a reservation for eleven at 6:45 to celebrate a birthday. We were taken to our table at 7:45. The carpet is rather sticky... and the place can get very crowded with people at the front of the restaurant waiting to be seated. It’s quieter and morecomfortable to wait in the vestibule between the front doors and the exterior doors. Our server was wonderful, knowledgeable,and attentive. This was impressive especially because of the number of other tables that were also receiving her service. Shewas knowledgeable about the menu and frequently checked to make sure our needs were met. Our chef was laid back, entertaining,and not overbearing. He was engaging without taking attention away from our birthday boy, and (most importantly!) he prepareddelicious food. Sometimes, hibachi chefs focus more on their jokes and tricks and percussion performances than on the dinnerthey’re preparing—which I think would have been more frustrating than entertaining, given how hungry we all were. Oneperson in our party is vegan, and all of her dietary needs were met with excellent attention. Our server was phenomenal inoffering options and communicating about ingredients and methods of preparation. A few in our party ordered sushi instead ofhibachi, and the sushi was satisfactory. Don’t look at this place as a restaurant so much as an entertainment venue thatserves food, too. One drink and one main course will be $30-40 per person. Consider it $15-20 of food and $15-20 for the show ofwatching your food prepared on the hot hibachi grill. You’ll get a decent amount of food—by the time you get the food—butdon’t show up expecting to eat right away. Maybe bring a book to read while you wait for your table to be ready. We arrivedat 6:30 and departed at 10:30, so we had plenty of time to socialize with one another before and after the distractions of foodand drink.
