I took the kids when they were much younger. They didn't really remember how good the food was, and to be honest, I forgot how... good the food was at Cracker Barrel...lol. We enjoyed our meals. We stopped to eat because we were driving from PA to NY leavingmy daughter's basketball tournament at Snooky facility in PA....but back to Cracker Barrel- you're going to love this place,especially in the warm weather months. Outside is lined with rocking chairs that you can take a load off and enjoyconversations. They're also for sale. This place is like a museum also, filled with antiques. I gave the kids a couple ofhistory lessons. You're liable to see anything from old horseshoes to lamps to pictures, wagon wheels, wash boards, licenseplates, and more. Not only do they offer food they have a shop with a plethora of items for sale including clothes, candy,soaps, toys, recipes and more. And if that's not exciting enough, imagine enjoying dinner by the fire place! Yes! Haven't been to a Cracker Barrel in a while but figured I'd drop in for lunch. It was VERY busy during lunch on Sunday. Had... about a 30min wait and another 30min for the food to arrive. Server seemed new but was nice. Food was very good and prices areaffordable. Just not sure it was worth all the waiting. But overall good experience. Read more

Today I am turning 45 wonderful years. My family has given me this gift because I love southern food and fried chicken. We ate... exquisite, we were treated spectacular. The menu has excellent prices and the food is abundant. Remember that there is avariety store at the reception, so I recommend including it in the budget. Read more

This was my first time eating at Cracker Barrel. We went on Valentine?s Day during lunch and they were really busy. We were told... it was about a 10-15 minutes wait. We waiting about 8 minutes until our table was ready. Looking around the nostalgic gift shopmade it seem like we didn?t wait at all. Once we were seated we were greeted by one of the BEST waitresses I?ve ever met. MakebaP. ?????????? She was waiting on the whole back room by herself and did an absolutely amazing job. She was hustling around theroom, very attentive to everyone and didn?t forget anything. Our food came out hot, fast and so good. I would recommend thisrestaurant to everyone. I ate here for the first time with my mom (she's been here before). We both ordered the same thing with hot tea and loved it... all. It was kind of chilly inside but the hot tea helped warm us up. We sat near the fireplace which was beautiful and cozy. Thestaff was amazing. Our waitress was a bit fast paced but cool. Our food came out quick and the dessert also. Everything was 100%delicious. No complaints. My mom almost choked on a piece of lettuce and the staff was in it immediately. She's okay but theprofessional and friendly help was short of amazing. The staff is A1! Yes it?s a chain but it?s such a great establishment. Can?t go wrong with chicken and dumplings. Their sides are great. Just... love the hospitality of the servers and the whole setup of the restaurant and store. Had to cover my son?s eyes on our way tothe bathroom because toys were strategically placed nearby so kids can go nuts and drive their parent crazy. Lol. Read more
