This was our first time at Mackenzie River and we took the whole family. The pizza was good but super expensive for us or else... overall I would rate 5 star. I'm glad they could do half and half on the pizza so we could try more flavors. The kids likedtheir meals too. We just kept thinking how many Costco pizzas or little Caesars pizzas we could've got for the price of our mealand been just as happy. Read more

A fantastic place to eat. They have burgers, pizza, fries and many more options. Nice bar to sit at if you like. I had a nice... wooden table with a great view of the mountains outside. Outdoor seating is also available when it's warmer. I came here for thegluten-free pizza and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Humble Pie and it has Olive oil & garlic, spinach, mozzarella,Asiago, Fontina & ricotta cheeses. Obviously it was awesome. They have separate trays and cutters and spoons for the gluten-freepizzas so there is little to no cross-contamination. Anytime I visit Pocatello I will be eating here. It was the name. And the prices. After looking up two other restaurants, with fancy dishes and prices, it was this more moderate... restaurant with the great name that we chose. Good looking from the parking lot. Very nice interior. Husband's huge Smokehouseburger was excellent. After looking at the calories, l "settled for" the Southwest Chop half salad and it was delicious.Husband's sharing of fries helped ease the feeling of being deprived as they were wonderful. We were very happy with theservice, the food, the restaurant overall which impressed husband more than he expected (for whatever reason). The bar stayedbusy, too, so the drinks must be good. Bourbon wings were so good & came with 1 celery & 2 carrot sticks. The pizza was also great. We got a small Good Ol Boy (it's... about 10"). The caesar salad could use some work. One order at our table got the small & one other got the large, but thequantity of lettuce was the same in both with almost no parmesan, & the dressing was skimpy (I usually like it on the lighterside, but this was hardly there). Pretty solid overall and would recommend. Staff was friendly and helpful. Huckleberry hefe was great, had the street taco trio... that came quickly. Missed 5 stars because the shrimp was just a touch colder than I would have liked, and 12.50 for the 3different tacos is a little high. But overall, I have ate here before and I will again. I was told about this establishment by my sister. I am visiting Florida and like to try different places to eat each Friday. I... had the fish ???? grilled, and it was not very good. It was mostly lettuce and some kind of sweet salsa hardly ANY grilledfish. I was not impressed. I wanted to try something different as opposed to pizza even though it IS a pizza place, but they hadfish tacos on the menu so I thought I'd try them. ???? I'm sorry but the food didn't look or taste good. The artichoke dip looked more like a 'quiche' and tasted like old waxy... cheese. My beet arugula salad was mostly slimy wilted greens and the beets looked anemic and we're brown- like they had beensitting out all day. Gross. Ended up throwing most of it in the trash. The only thing edible thing was the fries. What a wasteof life. I will never order from this place again. Read more
