The other reviews were so overly positive I didn't believe them, but had to try for myself. Legitimately terrific wings and nice... folks. Wings were the right size, not too large but still meaty. Cooked with the perfect crisp without having to request extracrispy. I'm usually a hot buffalo traditionalist, but went with Berry Siracha, Mango Habanero, Nashville Hot (in order of ourfavorite flavors). Sauces were super tasty and original. Met up later on vacation with fellow upstate New Yorkers, and theydoubted my review of this restaurant. Their loss. Read more
It gives me great pleasure to write this review, to be able to share my experiences with Wingz and a Prayer. First of all the... owners are very personable, they come out and hold conversations with the customers, making sure everyone is satisfied. Now thefood is delicious, so many different flavors of wings which will have licking your fingers in public without shame. GarlicParmesan Turkey Wings I know you can?t find that everywhere, delicious sides desserts and much more. The Pocono is blessed tohave Wingz and a prayer in our area. It is a satisfying meal for anyone who just doesn?t feel like cooking. This restauranthas fed my family on many occasions , due to the variety of flavors this menu definitely leaves us wanting more. I am alwaysexcited to see new flavors , and items added onto the menu. I am definitely a foodie and anytime I eat from this restaurant Iam never disappointed. If you?re ever in the Pocono area treat yourself and stop in. I definitely recommend Wingz and a Prayerand you won?t be disappointed!! By far this is THE BEST wing place I?ve ever eaten in my life !!!! If I could give it 20 stars I would in a heart beat! The... French fries, rice, cakes and Wingz are all super delicious and fresh!!! We reached around closing time (Due to Halloween), but they treated us really well and stayed open till we were done with our... late lunch. Fries were really good and crispy. The GOOD: The French fries are great! Will try them again. + one Star. The BAD (VERY BAD): Cheap frozen quality. After all... the hype reading the great reviews we decided to give it a try. The wings were rubbery, dry, and crusty. It feels like cheapover frozen product - the worst quality I have ever tasted. The cherry bomb sauce was a mess of some red substance - no cherrytaste. The other sauces were somewhat vaguely reminding of the ingredients advertised. The boneless wings are not even wings atall - frozen chicken nuggets - no taste at all. My son is disappointed. Then the cakes - commercial cheap sugary quality - noreal cream - some vegetable shortening on all of the cakes. Chocolate cake is nasty. Cheap chocolate flakes on the top are justfor show. The cake reminds of chocolate pudding layered with cheap brownies. Tiramisu is so bland it does not taste like a cakeat all. GOD would not approve of these chicken wings and the cakes! The quality needs to improve - fresh chicken wings only,home made sauces, and home made cakes equal to the hyped reviews! Not worth an $80 plus bill. Read more
