I?ve been here on a Friday evening and it?s a lot of fun in the summer! People that are vacationing in nearby properties are out... and about dining and having drinks and enjoying a small bit of beach that?s just out back. There are 2 places to get food hereso it?s a little confusing but once you get the lay of the land it?s great. You don?t have to order the higher end clams andlobster that?s available at the bar. You can get some beach food favorites that?s available in a cute little hut around on theside. Then there is a cute little refurbished camper that they sell shirts, shorts, flip flops and other really cute memorabiliato commemorate a fun summer trip to the beach. Great food and the place was very nicely done. Looks like it could be open year round. It has an outdoor extension which is... heated and also has Air conditioning. Great view of the water. We had steamers which were good size and fresh. I also had thegrilled cheese with bacon and crab cake. This sandwich was out of this world. A little heavy but worth it????. The kitchen was abit small but very clean and the kitchen staff worked very well together( I went by to take a look myself ) and there's also avery nice seating area outside. Local vibe type of place, right on water. Walking in you kind of don?t know where to go. No one is in the front to guide you or... welcome you to business, you have to figure it out on your own. Parking isn?t easy, but that?s because of the area it?s in. Istill gave business 4 stars because once we found help the staff was friendly and location is in a relaxing atmosphere setting. Read more
Played 18 holes of golf at the Lido Beach Golf course with a buddie today. It was a beautiful October day and we decided to grab... a bite at the Buoy Bar in Point Lookout. In the summer this is a very popular place and usually very crowded. But in October youhave a chance of getting in without a wait. The food is delicious, the drinks made to perfection, and the waiter service thebest I have experienced. There is seating both inside and outside. Since it was a beautiful day we ate on the outside deck andtalked while watching the boats go by. It is pricey but with the dining experience being so good it was worth it. Highlyrecommend. Read more
