Hands down one of the best barbecue and comfort food places in NJ let alone Point Pleasant. Usually my friend and I take an... annual trip down to Joe Leone's in the summer for the best mozzarella in NJ, however, the first time we went, we didn't realizehow quickly they run out of it and ended up wandering town just to see what Point Pleasant was like and maybe catch some grub.We stumbled across this place, figuring why not, we'll try it out. He ordered the Surf and Turf tacos, I order a poboy for thefirst time. We ended up being permanent customers. When we go down to point pleasant on our year trip, we go there, every time.We stay hungry the whole ride down from all the way up north just so we can eat there. I had my event catered by Ryan and I can honestly tell you there is no better bbq in the area. So many compliments from the... guests. I added corn fritters to the order last minute and they were an absolute hit! Only place to consider for bbq in thepoint area is shore points, no question. Read more

I'm not one to rave about food, especially breakfast, but this has to be the most delicious breakfast I have had at a... restaurant. It was the hash tower and consisted of hash browns, scrambled eggs, avocado, American cheese, hollandaise sauce,ketchup and bacon crumble. It was loaded with flavor! WOW, WOW It's a very cozy atmosphere run by top pros, with top quality food coming out of the small mom and pop eatery. Only 9... tables+window seating and bench seating against the wall. Superb clean variety items on the menu. Seafood, beef, chicken,Spanish American. This is the diner menu. Especially drinks, such as triple citrus iced tea, blueberry iced tea with realblueberries inside. Not too sweet nor too sour. French onion soup must but really must have to have. Calamari was as good freshcrispy. We have ordered 3 different sandwiches, pulled brisket, steak, pulled chicken bbq. Flavors is bursting out of the bite.Isaw then on Instagram and I had to go try the French onion soup yet other items were also showed this restaurant was out ofordinary which was true after trying them out. I give 5 stars they deserve it. You all definetly try them. This will be on yourregular visited place on your book as well as it is mine now. Lauren, the server, was awesome!! So attentive and nice!! We ordered the hush puppies as an appetizer. It was alittle heavy.... The beef brisket was so delicious and full of flavor. Loved the sandwich and the onion and cheese on it was delicious!! Myhusband had the pulled pork. Just as delicious!! The servings were so large we couldn't fit their dessert in. Read more
Pretty good little place. Staff was very friendly, and attentive. Food was very fresh, and flavorful. It all came out a little... on the warm as opposed to hot side. I had the chicken and waffles sandwich, I felt it was very good, however could have used alittle more of the maple mayo. I enjoyed the old school glass coke bottles. Read more
We had the opportunity to visit twice during the summer of ?22. First it was 2 of us, second visit was 5 of us. Both visits... were breakfast. Omelets, hash towers, pancakes?.all were perfectly seasoned and flavorful. It seems to be a family runbusiness so service is not as fast as people would like, but that?s the price you pay for essentially visiting a family?s homeand having them cook for you. I think my family and I will make this restaurant a weekly pit stop for comfort food. Read more
