Very disappointed in 1-1/2 lb steamed lobster. Lobster meat was very mushy as opposed to firm. Table next to us had same... complaint. Waitress offered us another lobster but caused a rather long wait before arriving. Larger sized lobsters werequested were not available. Menu choice was very limited. My appetizer clams were served without melted butter. Dressing on$20 steak salad was almost nonexistent so salad was dry. Service was great, but meal disappointing. Read more

The food was tasty. The wait was minimal for a Saturday night. The service was superior. The restaurant was busy, but a server... was exceptional. Joao aka John checked on us throughout our dinner. Went there for our 55th anniversary. My wife had a lobster that was OK. I ordered a rib eye medium rare. The first one I got... was well done. I asked for another and it came medium so I decided to try it. It was one of the toughest steaks I have ever hadand was inedible. I asked waitress for a takeout box so I could give it to my dog. I was not charged for the steak but I willnever go there again. I can't believe I got a rib eye that I could not chew. Read more
Service was great. Food was good. We went for Mother's Day so it was a buffet. They had food servers fishing out hot dishes. I... liked that. Table behind us had a thousand children eating the ice cream so their hands were in it. That was the only negative,otherwise we really enjoyed it. Read more

A big shout out to The Lobster Shanty and to my bf who took me here for my Birthday (he does not use social media). Hands down... one of the best meals I had - down to the bread, apps, second course, and main course.
