Never had anything but great service here. We were there this past Thursday evening, seated by the inlet, and I ordered... something old never had before: Shrimp and Grits with andouille sausage and green peppers. Absolutely fantastic and I think I'llorder it again when we're back in the area. I asked for a Long Island Ice Tea "not too sweet" cutting back on the triple sec. Itwas perfect (and only $10). Came here last week with my husband and three kids. It was a 30 minute wait which was expected. The kids loved their burgers and... pasta, I had the scallops which were great and my husband enjoyed his Cesar salad with shrimp. The calamari appetizer was prettydry and the mojitos were terrible. No muddling if the mint or enough simple syrup or lime juice. We were told the bartender wasnew. The view was beautiful and our waitress was really sweet so we’ll probably be back. Read more

As a first time visit, The Shrimp Box was an incredibly enjoyable time. As I mention often in my restaurant reviews, ditery... restrictions are a huge factor when it comes to dining for me. My waiter was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about themenu and allergens present. With his knowledge and the kitchen's caution I had a very delicious meal. The red snapper (pictureattached) featured on the specials menu was very delicious. The addition of french fries was very nice, as many restaurants areunable to cater to allergies due to cross contamination. However, The Shrimp Box has a dedicted fryer for french fries and doesnot use peanut oil. I will absolutely be back again. EDIT: Second time out, went from best to worst. Whether it be the kitchenor the service it was terrible. I sat for around an hour before getting any kind of food, and then when I did, it came outpoorly. My shrimp was unclean and overcooked. Then the main course came after the rest of my party had finished dining. It wastasteless and the order was incorrect. As I mentioned above and in many of my reviews, dietary needs are a huge part of mydining experience. This time around, I don't feel as though they performed up to par as I ended up with a bad stomach ache. Notvery happy this time around. Not sure I'll be back anytime soon. Read more

My 2nd visit to this great spot. Came with my wife and we enjoyed ourselves the 2nd time around. Had the Surf and Turf while my... wife had stuffed Flounder with Crab meat. The Calamari appetizer was off the hook and the Carrot Cake was the icing to ourevening. I highly recommend this place! Read more

First off I want to say this place is always on that ???? status. Outdoor patio if you like air, indoor if you're cold and... fragile. Staff is super exquisite. Excellent menu. Extra parking. They have a Hurricane Sandy water line marker insidethe lobby so you can remember the past. Def come here for top end seafood. I just sucked down 2lb of mussels to the dome likeit was nothing. My boi got the captains platter. Bing Bam, I finish all my food. Think of the starving kids elsewhere whenyou leave your slop. Read more

Definitely a 5 star experience from my server Sarah! We had the sunset dinner which included soup or salad, soft drinks, and... dessert. Seafood was prepared very well. I felt my drink was overpriced and probably wouldn’t order an alcoholic beveragethere again ($13 for a mojito which cost more than my appetizer!).
