This is good quality Italian comfort food. It's not Michelin star kind of food; it's more like a home cooked dinner but where... each person can choose their own meal. The beans and greens were awesome. The mussels were some of the best - not at all overoverpowered buy the broth. This is the best restaurant in town and is often crowded. The wait staff might be a bit over-bookedthough it was never hard to get their attention sometimes we had to flag them. Read more
Love love this place. The food here is amazing. Everything is made to order and homemade.. and you can taste it. They use local... fresh ingredients and offer a really decent menu with great options. They have good options for vegans and vegetarians as wellwith all the local veggies on the menu. The pizza here is super good. Loved the food here. Wide variety, skewing towards the healthy, but always delicious. We visited twice, one dinner (had... reservations), one lunch (no reservations). Loved the soups if the day (lentil with dinner and vegetable at lunch)--they we'reworthy of my Italian grandmother. Also fabulous: focaccia, grilled cheese sandwich (add the carmelized onions and pulled porkfor true decadence) and the olive oil cake. Only drawback was that it can be a little live, sound-wise.
