Fantastic lunch on a sunny Monday afternoon. We sat outside in the lovely garden. Oysters on the half shell were awesome (so... fresh!). I had the halibut fish and chips. Halibut was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. GF had the linguine clams whichshe really liked. Our server Karen was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Excellent service overall, without any of the delaysor missteps mentioned in earlier reviews. Meal was not cheap but we really enjoyed it and look forward to returning soon. Read more
I ate at this restaurant twice and I ordered the clam linguine for both times. I was so impressed with how fresh clams they use!... The clam meat was very big and the pasta had such an amazing flavor. The fresh oysters were super fresh as well. I wish thisrestaurant was in San Francisco. I can't wait to go back soon! Read more
It was ok. The service was lousy in the beginning, but improved half way through our meal. There were plenty of open tables... inside but we had to wait 15 minutes, and the host keep trying to get us to sit out on the patio. The wind that day was high.The corn beef plate was good, but certainly Not excellent. I would try a different place to relax, eat, and have better service. Read more
We’ve eaten here many times over the years. However this last time the food seemed way better than it normally is! They have... stepped up their game. They have a lovely outdoor patio too. For starters we got the buffalo cauliflower which are lightlybreaded cauliflower chunks with a spicy sauce and a wonderful feta dip. DeLish!My hubby had the mussels with a green curry sauceand he said they were excellent. I’m not a mussel girl but I definitely took a few dips of the curry sauce and it wassuperb. I had the halibut fish and chips which came with a wonderful coleslaw with a bit of kale in it I believe. Not the usualvinegary watery mush. The fish was incredible - the batter was thin and super crispy golden brown, fish was done to perfection -the best fish and chips I’ve had! Apologies I would have taken better pictures (other than the one here which is just ourdoggy box to take home) but we were very hungry after a long hike and it was so good we couldn’t stop. Read more
I loved the Philly cheesesteak, the dessert and the lovely patio. So, why not 5 stars? Well I still don't understand how service... could be so badly organized with so many people running around. It took forever to get a table (many were available but neededcleaning, it took like 15 minutes), to catch a server to order, to get our check... we almost missed the sunset at Point Reyes,which would have cost one less star. We enjoyed the food. The oysters we delicious. The shrimp cocktail wasn't cleaned properly and less than fresh. They were... enormous though. It would have been nice to have a homemade cocktail sauce to go with it for the price instead of the bottledone. Overall the rest of the meal was delicious they used locally sourced good ingredients and we enjoyed the lemon pudding andthe olive oil cake. Kind of shocked that we had to show our vaccine cards. The way they checked our vaccine records to our IDwas ridiculous. Read more
So good! Went with three other people and got to try a lot of good food. Flank steak salad, Station House burger, house salad,... soup of the day? Was tomato basil, Mac and Cheese, bread and butter, and tomato bruschetta. All of them were really good. Thetomato bruschetta was a little small on the bread side to share so I broke up my piece of the bread and butter and used it toeat the rest of the tomato's. The staff was friendly and efficient.
