I tried Boustan counter today at Fairview branch to have a lunch! It was like a rush hour, I waited for the line, chooses the... trio falafel sandwich with potatoes and a soft drink. Tasty meal, served with a hummus sauce,hopefully they make the originaltarator sauce so we can choose it! I loved their garlic sauce, and their juicy very well cooked potatoes ???????? Shawarma tastes good ????. However, they messed up my order. i ordered online via Boustan site and when i arrive 10 min after... the scheduled time they didn't have my food or even didn't have it on their system. (cannot say i was early or it was busybecause there wasn't anyone in line or nearby waiting to get food) After going through my order confirmation email 4-5 times by3 staff members they started to make my order. Managed to get the food after about 10-15 min. Sad part is after all that when iget home; one of the items ( Oriental Omelette) order says 6 piece. However they only gave 1 tiny omelet. I am very disappointed with the food. This was my first time eating at this place today as I heard so much about it and decided... to try their food. The garlic sauce was bland, no garlic flavour at all, tasted more like whipped mayonnaise. The chicken wasalso very bland, salty and lacked spices. The portion size was good, but I must say their food is very expensive. Drinks are notincluded and the salad choice is very limited that comes with the meal. If you want other salads, you have to pay extra $1.50which is a very small portion, like feeding a 3 year old. I am not impressed and I paid $22.00 for my meal. Will never be eatinghere again. Sorry! Boustan in Fairview is not bad. It is like a typical boustan you can find in the city Customer service is good as well and... employers listen and take your order with communication. Their poutine is not bad their potatoes are what made it good. Iwanted a little hot but it was not that hot. It was just sitting there for a while. The price was questionable for $5.99 sinceit was small. It may prevent me from trying it again. Also a little bit salty as well. I recently tried their chicken shawarmawith potatoes and orange juice. The Drinks outside their cash is not cold. They should remove that A.S.A.P. but it did notbother me that much. The person forgot to give me my potato wedges. So you need to ask him. One of the employees had her maskdown and you can see her nose but she was nice. Their shawarma was grilled so that was a bonus because in crescent street theydo not grill it. They put in the microwave. Their potatoes are a Montreal institution and it is good just like any otherBoustan. Only prices were an issue for me but other than that is a good decent Boustan I hope to try their plates, Sharma andother specialties in the near future again and see if its good. It's exactly what you expect from Boustan. I was really disappointed by the delays for this place since I work in the mall. I... was not disappointed to eat here finally. The meat was dry but it was tasty anyway and they didn't skimp on the sauce. I willdefinitely eat here again. Read more
