The fish n chips was the best I've ever had; soft, tender fish in a perfectly crunchy and salty shell of batter, sitting on a... bed of satisfyingly crispy (but pillowy on the inside) fries, and accompanied with what seems to be a homemade tartar sauce, with delectable notes of dill! Ordered for takeout so I can't speak of the service or comfort of the premises, but the ambianceis super charming and the food came out quickly, and for a great price! Just under $19 including tip :) Read more

Really... Nothing bad to say about this place. Great sighting of the marina, the food was very nice and not too pricey, the... staff was nice too. If you're on for some lobsters or fish & chips, this is a great place. Read more

Wonderful seafood restaurant at Pointe-du-Chene wharf beside the compelling Pointe-du-Chene Marina. My beautiful wife, Pat and I... asked to be seated up on the top floor balcony overlooking the marina and street below. The ocean breeze was most welcome onthis usually hot summers day. Neither of us had any regret in our seating arrangement. We had an ideal spot overlooking ShediacBay. Going over the menu we both decided upon ordering and sharing the Mixed Grill which consisted of lobster, shrimp, scallopsand haddock baked in garlic sauce. As a bonus we also ordered and shared a Ceasar salad. Pat had water to drink and I enjoyed aperfectly made strawberry daiquiri. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the scenery, the ambience and the calm. Pat wasn'tcrazy about the comfort of the chairs, though I could eat comfortably on a rock and my chair suited me fine. Looking out uponthe marina we noticed many fine boats in a huge variety. We both even chuckled at one boat that reminded us both of the S.S.Minnow (younger ones will have to Google that boat). Waitress was cordial and efficient though we were surprised when thewaitress mentioned she did not have change when we offered to pay in cash. Both of us were satisfied with this restaurant andlook forward to further dining enchantments here. Read more

I was not impressed. Was told to come here and this place came highly recommended. It was too bad that the muscles we ordered... came mostly closed and under cooked.. The main mixed meal was very small and only had 3 marble sized pieces of shrimp.. thewaitress spilled the clan chowder on another plate and never offered to change even though it was served cold. Let's just sayit was not what I expected. The seafood taco was really good that my girlfriend ordered. Read more

The atmosphere is very summery and nice! Staff is friendly and food came very fast. Salt and pepper was missing from the table... so we started our meal without it which left me and my friend disappointed as I wanted some on my rice and he wanted some on hisfries. We were already a bit into our food when the staff finally came and we asked for it. Keep this in mind if you like saltand pepper, make sure to ask for it before your food arrives, we had not noticed. I found the ?lobster roll? very underwhelmingand disappointing for the high price charged. I expected your typical loaded lobster roll full of pieces and mayo etc in a longbun, my first this summer, but shockingly was presented with a hamburger bun with a few dry lobster pieces inside - keep this inmind if you are hoping for the other type of lobster roll which are popular all over Shediac. The rice pilaf was very good, bland at first but very good after we got salt and the artichoke dip was very good. Wasn?t a fan of the white Sangria, and Inormally love all Sangrias. I almost didn?t drink it but then I felt bad so I forced myself. The virgin strawberry daiquiriwasn?t liked by my 5 year old toddler which was sad considering she loves all sugary drinks normally and I wanted her to enjoy anice treat. I tasted it and I also didn?t like the taste so I couldn?t drink it, my friend tried it too and also didn?t like it,so it got wasted. For the high price paid, I was left very disappointed with the drinks and food but still glad we headed toShediac and enjoyed a bit of time in the sun by the water on such a beautiful day. Will try other places next time but mightgive this place another go before end of summer and try something else. Upon reading other reviews, it seems like I?m not theonly one surprised or disappointed by the lobster ?burger?, maybe it should be better explained or have picture shown. Read more

The good? Food was amazing. Service was prompt and friendly. Pricing is fair. Atmosphere is welcoming. The negatives I would say... from my own perspective are: you have to pay $3 to park before even approaching the parking lot. In 30+ degree weather, it wouldhave been nice to have a choice on eating inside however we were escorted immediately to the outside deck to be seated. As aresult of being outside and being uncomfortably hot, there were a lot of flies around landing on the food. All in all I gave a 4star rating because it was a great establishment with great food. I would go back again because the good aspects overshadowedover the bad. Read more
