Well my wife and I were hesitant to go there because the reviews were not great. We got drinks, my beer was fine but I think... they forgot the rum in her drink as she is an extreme light weight when it comes to booze, and didn’t feel a thing. We ordered a single sushi roll. The girl said it would be 20 minutes. Over an hour later and watching guests that came much... later enjoying their food at their table, I asked what was up with our order. The girl gets an attitude and responds, “ he’sworking on it”. The food was not good. The poke bowl was decent, but we were disappointed with the sushi. The Poipu Roll was plain and just... lackluster. The Jimmy Hendricks roll had good sauce but the fish was just ok and the tempura taste sort of stale. Also, ourrolls came at different times and we were nearly done eating when my friend finally got her roll. The atmosphere was nice withlive music. The bathrooms were beyond disgusting, had caution tape and smelled bad. We also had to ask for water and could'veused more than 1 refill. Love walking in and being seated right away!! Service was excellent! Everything came out super quick! Our glasses were never... empty! The food was all superb! One of our favorite stops whenever we visit Kauai! Mai Tai was yummy and the special margarita.The AC/DC roll and chicken pad thai are our favorites! Read more
