There's usually a group of regulars in the morning but if you get in early you can beat the rush in the summertime. On Sundays... if you want brunch after church you might be in for a crowded and noisy 50's style diner, but that's one of the things I loveabout it. The staff always does their best to keep your coffee topped off, and the cooks will get your food out as fast aspossible. I had a great Father's Day breakfast here, and I'll always be back. Read more

Very small and cramped, we brought our son to this diner and the highchair took up a large space and people couldn't get... through. I ordered Reese's Pieces pancakes and there were barely any Reese's Pieces in them, more like regular pancakes. Read more
On the first visit the Denver omelet had maybe a spoonful of ingredients. The hash browns were over cooked and couldn't be... eaten. I asked for better ones they came back fine. On my second visit I asked if I should order extra ingredients for myomelette since the first time there wasn't many in there and they said no that was just a fluke. This time The Omelette camejust fine. But they had trouble with English muffin it was burned I asked if they could make me one unburned and it brought meone back lightly toasted an oversaturated in butter I had to take out spoonfuls. Kind of like warm bread. I asked if there wasan in between and the waiter said there was not it was either overcooked or undercooked no in between. I believe there is a inbetween. On to my third visit. After ordering I could smell burnt toast and since the other two sets of customers we're alreadyeating that was more than likely my friends toast I jokingly said sounds like your toast is burning. Once again I ordered theomelette it was fine my friends food was fine her hash browns were perfect and mine were pure white. So I asked if I could havemine like my friends crispy with white in the middle. The remake of the hash browns came back just right. The toast on the otherhand was burnt black. I asked him if we could have some other toast and he argued with me and said it was not burnt I said it isbird she doesn't want to eat it I will pay for other toast can we have different toast please. He comes back and says I had ahard time making it I burnt the first set also. Basically agreeing that the first set was burnt as well at that point. This isthe first time he showed his passive aggressive behavior. 2nd day of 7 year Anniversary trip. Stopped at Betty's diner. Many options to choose from. I chose the breakfast skillet.... Considering the plates, price of food, and the atmosphere. I will give this a 3 star. Good low price, great classy atmosphere,service was fast. But the skillet had some me ingredients that wasn't cooked all the way. I could have easily cooked this myselfat home. There was nothing unique about this platter. Maybe next time I will try a different dish. Read more
