Stopped here originally so my girlfriend could use the restroom. They had the typical policy of ?buy something to use the... restroom? which is understandable. We left to try to find another bathroom and were unlucky. I decided yo come back and just buysome ice cream so my girlfriend could finally pee. As she was ringing me up, my girlfriend started walking up to use therestroom and the lady working screamed at her saying she ?cant go until after the payment goes through.? What a joke. And notbut 3 minutes later some random person walked inside and ran up to use the restroom without the worker saying a word. Absolutelyridiculous. On top of it all it was some of the worst ice cream I?ve ever had. It tasted like icy, watered down milk with noflavor. No wonder they want you to pay first. I highly recommend just skipping right over this horrific hole-in-the wall.Because in all honesty it looks like it has holes in the wall. Terrible customer service, terrible food, and absolutelyhorrendous aesthetic. Threw away the ice cream. No thanks. Read more

We have been here several times and their treats are just spot on! Now this is delicious traditional nieve de garrafa (churned... ice cream) without heavy consistency of milk. More like a raspado but a tad bit creamy. I loved their coconut ice cream that hasdried coconut strips ???? Also their esquite is satisfying! ???? It reminds my husband of his hometown in Mexico. I usuallyrequest light mayo in my esquite. The funnel cake is enough for two ???? El Mercadito in LA has been replaced. Read more
This is such a cool ice cream stop. We throughly enjoyed the Hispanic vibe. The unique flavor topped it off like a cherry on... top. Gotta go check it out. I will be back for sure. Bring my out of town guests. Read more
