I’ll be honest, when I saw that Cha For Tea was being taken over, I was downright depressed. That was hands down my favorite... boba shop and nothing could come close to it, or so I thought. Turns out JJ Boba comes so close to it it’s not funny. Ihaven’t yet tried their food, but their actual boba is perfection. I love the flavor and how soft and chewy it is withoutbeing mushy or gross. The tea is delicious too. I really love the Thai milk tea. Overall, while it doesn’t quite fill thehole in my heart that Cha for Tea left, it comes the closest to doing so! Read more
One of my go to shops when I need a quick lunch. I rarely do boba tea (though my friends love the boba from here) but I normally... get an entree to go. Reasonable prices, good quality chicken, just somewhat strange with the sides. Corn and salad aren'tnormally my go to sides with Chinese food. Still, like this place for it's food and atmosphere. I'm a big fan of JJ Boba, the crispy chicken is fantastic and they have tons of delicious milk tea flavors. My go-to order is... the Spicy Crispy Chicken entree with noodles (which are delicious) and a brown sugar milk tea. Highly recommended if you're afan of boba and are in the area. Read more

Always enjoyed coming here, the quality hasn't changed since after the name change or since the pandemic. Their non-milk tea... fruit varieties are always refreshing (Peach Passion Green Tea middle and Lychee Black Tea right). Generally I like boba milktea but for JJ Boba I make an exception. Boba is excellent, sweet and chewy. Their popcorn chicken is also good. Whiledelicious, some of their teas are very sweet, would recommend half sugar (especially for the Roasted Brown Sugar Boba Lattepictured left). Read more
Was sad to see that Cha For Tea fell victim to the pandemic as it was the closest decent boba shop near work. Glad to have JJ... Boba fulfill the location under new ownership. Expect to have the same high quality boba and food as the previous ownership. Theboba was fresh and still warm! Read more
The mango green tea is my favorite tea. They are always fast and only got my order wrong once...out of 4 times I've been. Adjust... the sweetness of the tea when you get it without ice because otherwise, it feels super syrupy. The crispy chicken is not good.It tastes like cinnamon and when I asked for it spicy, it was just red. No spicy flavor. It would been 5 stars for my tea, but Ihave to give it 3 on account of the bad chicken and wrong order. Read more
