This place caught my husband's attention as we strolled around downtown. We had pretty high hopes after browsing reviews. Upon... entering we were seated quickly and had our drinks brought to us. We placed our order and didn't see our waitress again untilabout 20-25 minutes later..she came to tell us that she was sorry about the wait and it would be a little while longer as thecook was behind on a to go order. We understand places are short staffed, etc. but it would have been nice to know before the20-ish minute mark and our drinks were empty as well. Also not sure why we weren't prioritized as we were dining in..and therewere only a few tables(which had their food) as it was around 3pm. We still ended up waiting another 10 minutes on our food.Thankfully the burgers and steak fries were good. Unfortunately service and the long wait kind of killed it for us. Wecontemplated getting up and walking out which isn't something we typically do. Unsure if we would try it again when in the area. Read more

For small town food you can't go wrong at Delongs. I was here on a business trip and was surprised to find that this is right... off of the famous RT 66. I highly recommend you stop in for the Italian Beef (or what I call a French Dip). It was super meaty,tender and flavorful. My host had the Ribeye sandwich - his go-to fav - and it looked delish. Traveling and stopped in for a quick bite to eat before continuing on. Fun place, cool decor, outstanding waitress. Food was... really good, I ordered the pot pie special because it was different. Could have been served hotter as it was just above warm.Salad was perfect. Read more

This is a nice restaurant in a historic building on the town square. I arrived at 8:00 pm on a Saturday night. I ordered the... Garlic & Butter Ribeye cooked rare with a dinner salad and seasoned french fries. My food arrived quickly, was cooked correctlyand everything tasted great. My server was very attentive throughout my visit. One minor thing was that my salad arrivedseconds before my steak. It didn't ruin my meal though. Absolutely loved DeLongs! This was a perfect late lunch spot in the heart of Pontiac. The staff was super friendly and gave... plenty of recommendations. Particular highlights: We tried the horseshoe (a local dish) and the deep friend pepper jack cheeseand they were both awesome! Don't come here to "eat healthy", come here to "eat well!" It's a perfect example of a greasy spoon,and I'll absolutely be visiting again next time I'm in town! Read more
We got delivery and it didn't take long at all. I ordered the honey walnut chicken with cream of asparagus. The soup was so good... but the chicken was amazing! So tender and tasted so good. The baked potato was perfect, not over done and tough. My mom orderedthe garlic chicken and said hers was incredible! Would definitely recommend!! Read more
