I pulled up and was greeted by an automated voice. I was confused at first cuz some places have that fake voice greet the... customer before a real worker comes on to take the actual order but not this time. The ordering process was completelyautomated and it honestly creeped me out lol (this isn't some technologically challenged old lady btw???? I'm only 26 and I wasstill thrown off by it). I let the girl at the window know it when I pulled up. I was skeptical about weather or not my orderwould come out correctly because I made some changes to the food items but to my surprise everything was just as Irequested. My only complaint (other than the creepy vibes I get from AI) is I was a little confused about when I should letthem know the changes I wanted to make to the burger and when to move on to the next item choice for my meal. It could do abetter job of leading the customer through the ordering process to prevent this confusion. Checkers corporate should reallyconsider this if they implement the system in all store. People who are picky with their food may be detected from ordering atplaces with this system, too afraid to get the wrong food. Read more
They have a robot taking orders which is weird. Also, I went there one day and was told they're only serving GrubHub and... DoorDash orders. They shouldn't assume people use those services. Not to mention gas prices are way too high to send customersthat drive in away like that. Manager contacted me after I contacted corporate and made excuses (short staffed) but also said hewasn't there at the time and they shouldn't have been doing that. Also, I wasn't offered anything for the inconvenience afterspeaking with the manager and corporate. Doordash order with a classic mother cruncher, first time trying checkers, got through half the sandwich and realized that it... was extra chewy so I looked and sadly confirmed that I just ate idk how much raw chicken, atleast 1 mouthful. Don't have much to say because I'm not a fast food regular But it's open til late only fastfood in the pontiac area open late... for a munch and specially when I don't get time to make home meals because I have 2 jobs this is the place to come get foodbecause I know for sure it will be open I have gone to other places that it says it's open hours and when you get there it'sclose or sometimes I gotta other dinner and go out during my lunch break to go pick up before they close because I have a famwaiting for food and they get dispointment when I tell them it's close or I couldn't go during my lunch break ????Checkers on Nperry Read more
