Grabbed carry out. I ordered cod fillets, catfish fillets, hush puppies and coleslaw for a few of us. The fish was amazing! ... The cod fillets were fresh tasting and flaky with a crispy batter. The catfish was awesome. I don't think I've ever had catfishbefore and wanted to give it a try. It's really good! Great flavor and cooked perfectly. I ordered at the restaurant. The guyat counter was friendly and helpful. It took about 15 minutes for my order, just as he told me, so they could cook my orderfresh. I've never been here before. I found them on line when searching for good fish and chips. I was heading back across townjust before dinner time and thought I'd give them a try. I'm so glad I did! (Not the greatest picture) We just moved to pontiac in February and just recently started trying all the highly rated food... joints out here. This place was AMAZING! We got the cod, mac and cheese, chicken tenders and the corn bread. My boyfriend & Ishared the 4 piece cod and I could barely finish my 2nd piece because of how large they were, they were fried PERFECTLY, and hada lot of flavor in the batter! The tarter sauce has to be homemade, it had a lot of great flavors that paired nicely with thecod. My son got the chicken tenders with fries and I tried one of his chicken strips. For plain ole chicken strips they werefried so well & tasted amazing. The fries he said were good. The mac & cheese was good, alot of garlic but i still liked it. & Isaved the best for last. THE CORN BREAD ???????? If youve been to OCJ the LOOK of it might give you some jail house flashbacksbut I promise you it tastes AMAZING. not dry at all, so good. Only leaving one star because zero isn’t an option. I ordered $30 worth of food at 3PM. Didn’t arrive till 535PM. They... charged me for a large fry that I didn’t receive. The corn was wet and had no flavor. the Mac and cheese was stringy and cold.And the chicken couldn’t even eat it the skin was so hard and crunchy. Tasting like it’s been sitting there sinceyesterday.
