Truckers.... I dont do this often, but I have my wife with me. She already threw the pizza away. But she is from New York im... from New Jersey. Reviews and website says made from scratch. Man I really wish we had this pizza to take pictures. You would seestraight up gas station pizza. Like whole in the wall gas station that you know better then to eat at. There is no way on earththis is made from scratch. You mean you unwrapped it. Then put it in an oven. Dough that is hand tossed or even touched by handdoes not look like CardBoard when you done cooking it let alone taste like cardboard. That is pure from scratch particle board.Waited 38 minutes happily, just to recieve cardboard. Man I'm so so disappointed. As I'm about to close this statement my wifesays she took a picture. Yeeeaaaaahhhhhhh, you tell me fellow review watchers. Does this look like particle board or pizza fromscratch. I mean my entire family from The Big City. What do I know. I get not all pizza is NYC quality. But this is just puregarbage and not right to advertise any more or less then pure particle board. Ps....we ate salad at Loves. Pizza went in thetrash. Great local chain of three restaurants. Great food, very generous portions, and excellent customer service.
My friend/fellow driver and I stopped for lunch today (5/17/22) and we were seated promptly. This place was kicking @ a few... minutes before noon, lunch hour crew! Our server did fine, @ first. She took our drink orders and we browsed the menu. Isettled on the Cheese Quesadilla ($10.00) and my friend decided on the BLT (Price unknown). The food portions were a reasonablesize, we both couldn?t finish our food ???? The reason for the four stars is I paid with a $100 bill on my $13.38 check. Mychange was only $86.00, what happened to my 62 cents? It would have been one thing if I was advised about any ?coin shortage?,however, I wasn?t. 62 cents isn?t a big deal, I?m not destitute, I wanted what was owed. If I could give this place more stars I would. Great staff, great food, amazing atmosphere. Every single part of my meal was... served speedily and cooked to perfection. Delicious cup of gumbo, large side salads, grilled shrimp and steak were amazing andthe stuffy skins potato was out of this world. Won?t miss this place ever again coming through Pooler. Read more
No longer a go-to staple of Savannah surrounding. The ?new management? has really got to control his or her cooks, quality of... the food, and prices. We ordered the most popular dish on the menu: standard 4-count chicken fingers. extra crispy spuds, and awater (x2). We were prompt with the ETA to ensure fresh, crisp food. Unfortunately, this is the second time for which we?ve beento this particular Spanky?s and received below average take-out and our order wasn?t procured as requested. On top of the soggyfood, they have increased their prices twice in the last 4-6 months. It?s not justifiable to blame covid when greed is clearlyin the way. Wouldn?t recommend? anymore! Read more
Went to this location on a Monday right at lunch time. We got our table extremely fast. Our waitress was very nice and... attentive. We knew what we wanted so we ordered right away and food came to our table really fast. The tenders and spuds werebussin bussin. I wish I could remember the waitresses name because she was very nice. I am going to start with the only positive. The server was wonderful. Nothing that went wrong was her fault. Now for the... negative:30 min to get a BLT and Chicken Fingers. Then the bacon was pretty much raw. The chicken was cold and so overcooked itwas rubber. It literally hurt my teeth to try to eat one. Plus the spuds were cold too. When asked for a Manager she camestomping out from kitchen. She was rude as could be. Literally snatched the plates up before stomping off again. Read more
