Prices have gone up and I understand that. Everywhere has. However, portions got smaller and there was a tiny piece of shrimp... in the sweet and sour shrimp. All breading and that was over cooked and hard. Very disappointed. Always liked Panda Garden Read more

I called to place an order for pick up only to get yelled at by some man on the phone because its "not panda express it's panda... GARDEN" then he refused to place the order for me because I had never been there before. I just heard really good things aboutthe place and wanted to try it. It's near impossible to find good Chinese food in Winnebago and Boone County. Panda is tucked away in the Poplar Grove area... across from the Candlewick entrance. Atmosphere is low because it's definitely a take out restaurant. However, the kitchen is100% visible and you see all of the goings-on in the making of their orders. I like this because they are a very cleanrestaurant. The food is typically ready in 10-15 minutes and the people are nice. The hot and sour soup is made to order andthe crab rangoon are wonderful.
