I like the fact that you can get breakfast all day, which is what I ordered and it was good. Took a long time for the waitress... to show up and even longer for the food to come out. My wife ordered the Roast beef special with mashed potatoes and gravy. Thegravy had mushrooms and onions which she wasn't told about beforehand and it was just kind of a sloppy mess. Read more

Sausage links were cold and hard as a rock. The scrapple was burnt to a crisp, and to top it off there was a leak over our table... that dripped on our food. Nice folks, but I am disappointed in my first experience here. I will try one more time in a couplemonths to give one more chance. Read more
My Mom and I stopped by yesterday,Sunday,July 3rd for the 1st time. Boy, we were surely impressed! We got an omelette with an... English muffin and home fries. It was super delicious! I saw they had homemade Strawberry pie, well, we had to get a slice foreach of us to take home , and it was fantastic! I hope next time we come they have the pineapple upside down cake as I?d love totry that as well ! Our server was very attentive too ! No complaints here ! We will be back very soon ! Great place ! Thought I had died and gone to heaven when my friends and I found this amazing diner. Had the best bacon cheese burger and real... homemade fries I?ve ever had. I loved them so much I went and had it again a few days later! Then on one night we ordered thefresh baked bread and dipping oil to go. That in itself was a meal and I would recommend it to anyone. The waitresses are supernice and service is wonderful. If your ever in Poquoson I?d make sure to stop and eat here! Read more
Sat at the bar because it was just me. From there, it was easy to observe how the back of the house and front of the house... cooperate. I was impressed with the friendliness of the service, value of the food, and the cleanliness of the place. Read more

The menu is a little limited and, like everybody these days, they struggle to have enough servers, but the food is terrific... and the people are friendly. They have my favorite breakfast combo anywhere. It's called "A Little More," and it includes 2eggs cooked to your order, bacon or sausage, potatoes or grits, and the option of a pancake or a half order (which is a wholebuscuit) of biscuits and sausage gravy, which I substitute with creamed chipped beef, my favorite thing on their whole menu. I get the eggs scrambled with cheese, the potatoes and bacon. Incredible. Specials and home-cooked favorites like meat loafare also really good. Read more
