Starbucks has always usually been so reliable in being fast and efficient. However my experience here at this Port Alberni... location felt like I was in a completely different cafe. The girl who took my order was very friendly, however she didn't eventake my name despite there being quite a few customers. Also, I bought just 2 breakfast sandwiches...THAT'S ALL- NO drinks. theycould've simply placed them in a bag and handed it right and there...but we ended up waiting 15 minutes. In the meantime I keptnoticing the staff quietly place customers orders on the counter without notifying or addressing anyone that their orders wereready. I repeatedly returned to check if mine was ready but after the third time the handful of staff were not even aware of myorder. Finally I lingered and reconfirmed my order which then they simply handed it straight to my hands. Coming from Vancouverand Richmond I've seen fewer staff at Starbucks handling a lot more customers, yet they'd work way more efficiently. There werea considerable amount of staff here at this location but perhaps a few of them were in training?? There were no indications ofanyone being trained though. Read more
