Overall this was a great choice for lunch today. Started off with their tortilla soup(sorry forgot to take a pic) which had a... little kick but the flavor was on point. Had the 16oz medium ribeye and couldn’t have been cooked better with a side of loadedmashed potatoes. Service was definitely on their A game. Food was delicious!! Blue Steak, and mins a medium rare serloin with crawfish and shrimp. The potato soup was my favorite. I... would probably exclude the crawfish and tomato from the dish. The only thing I would recommend is to clean the outer part ofthe plates before bringing them out. It makes the appearance of the player look cleaner. There’s a few spatters of food aroundthe plate. In appetizers we ordered Range Rattlers, they were quite spicy but quite tasty. Do try them. And had steak, it was one of the... best steak i ever had. Perfectly grilled, juicy and tender. Worth every penny! Read more
Amazing service. The server was attentive and polite. The drinks weren't as good as we had hoped as they were slightly different... to our normal drinks we order at restaurants. The steaks were perfect!! The prices weren't as bad as people made them out to beas we spend around the same as we usually do for date night. The fried pickles and peppers were about as expected for what theywere. The peppers had some kick which was good. Potato soup was good. The Caesar salad was as expected for a salad. So yesterday My folks drove in from Houston to visit, and when discussing lunch, salt grass was brought up because they are... Landry's card holders and I confessed to never been there before, so off we went. Upon arriving and walking inside, the firstthing I noticed was the decor and atmosphere of the place which I found to be pretty cool so already I had a decent enoughfeeling. That feeling was only slightly skewed after looking at my silverware noticing that one of the forks was incrediblycruddy it looked like it had baked on cheese and gravy stuck to it which I did not make a big deal out of I went over to ourwaitress and kind of nonchalantly after if I could have another fork she said of course finish that back down what aboutenjoying the rest of my appetizer. But then she got another strike after the chop steak I ordered with no grilled onions andmade a point to say no grilled onions more than once, arrived in front of me with a cartoon amount of grilled onions on top ofit, which again I did not make a big deal out of I simply got my fork and scoop the grill onions on to the small bread plate Iwas given and then handed that plate to our waitress thinking okay well I don't have to say it was wrong she should haverealized but she said nothing about it no apologies no nothing whatever. Besides that the food was pretty good no complaintsthere it was just the lack of detail as far as the silverware goes and the paying attention to customer service and making surethat they are correct and they are happy that's where I would see some work needing done.
