I am updating this review from a 2 star to a 5 star. The Port Arthur Roadhouse went above and beyond to make things right. Since... our dinner was work related they sent over appetizer trays so that everyone who was at the dinner could enjoy their resolutionto our issue. It was a huge success and the team appreciated the effort. Thank you for not ignoring our concerns and for findinga way to restore faith in the brand! While the food was very good the service was not. From the beginning of orders the serverwas short with each person and was rushing the orders. The server never came back to the table, a party of 9 to see if we neededanything. We had to go to the front and ask for additional rolls, we had to ask a different server to send ours to the table toget to go boxes. Our server could have asked if the ticket was all together at the beginning but didn't and made a big deal atthe end when they were separate? The server seemed more interested in closing duties all around the restaurant than in providingservice at our table. We were seated at 8pm and closing was at 10pm. Service should be as good until closing as it is at anyother time during open service. No excuse. Read more

Sometimes you just want to belly up at a bar and have a great meal. If that's what you're looking for then this is the perfect... place. The steaks are the best here. I have never returned a steak here. I love it when I get exactly what I order and how I canwanted it. My 14oz New York Ribeye - Medium Rare was seasoned to perfection. Ribeyes are known for their flavor. When the fatjust renders down something about that steak just absorbs that flavor. Broccoli was tender and with a hint of butter it was sodelicious. Get the sweet potato with cinnamon butter. Or if you want to go over the top get it with marshmallows. OMG. I havea huge sweet tooth but It's like the perfect dessert. I wouldn't get anything else. Went on weekend. Bit crowded. Waiting time for the table was 30min. Preferred to sit at the bar. Ordered mix platter for... appetizer. Was just ok, not so promising. Then had steak fillet as main course. Asked them to make it medium well. Turned out itwas almost well done from outside but still pink from inside. Bartender said it would melt in your mouth but gotta chew itenough to swallow in. Asked her to make it up again but it just worsen the steak. Read more
Have been here so many times and have yet to review this place. They never disappoint me on their service or the food. I picked... a gigantic 30oz ribeye cooked to medium and it was definitely on point. The flavor was literally perfect and those shrimp on topset the whole meal to the next level.
