This was our first time here, and will not be our last! Our server, Rebecca, was absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious as... well. It's on a beautiful spot on the Chain. We went to see the two cover bands for Van Halen and ACDC.. BOTH bands wereoutstanding! We can't wait to come back! Read more

Nice Vibe. Great food. Service is kind of slow though. Great place to hang out in summer evenings

Food was good. Service was a little slow. It was early on a Thursday and only a few folks in the restaurant. Maybe it was... before people started. Like I said food was good though. Would go back. Looks like it could get super busy by all the tablesand stage. Read more

Met up with a friend here for an early Saturday lunch. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with providing some suggestions... and opinions on menu options. Loved the various sandwich and burger listings. Food tasted solid. I am looking forward toheading back to when it is warmer so I can enjoy views of the water and enjoying some music. Read more

Beautiful setting! Monday night is dogs? night which was why we came. Fun watching the boat traffic in and out of their... marina. Chicken fried hard with crispy skin (no breading) and tender at the bone. I got the jerk dry rub withpineapple-habañero sauce on the side; both delicious but the sauce was no joke! Just wish the wings had been salted a littlemore before dropping in the fryer to let that seasoning soak in. Still above average wings. Missus got a burger, on special onMondays. It was decent. Nice, fresh beer selection including a local tapper from Crystal Lake. Missus enjoyed her 22oz rumrunner. Decent drive from Antioch about 20 miles but we'll be back???? Read more

Our first time at Broken Oar and it was wonderful. We brought our kids ages 2-12 to watch Infinity play for an all ages... afternoon show and this was where they were playing. The kids loved watching the boats and the music was amazing as always. Thestaff was very friendly and food was excellent. Our kids ordered from the kids menu and the portions were full size in myopinion. I loved the atmosphere of people, everyone was very friendly. Having kids I was not using the portable restrooms as 1stchoice but after a few trips with kids around the building and upstairs with I caved and used the portable ones right outsidethe music tent by the boat launch. Not only were the restrooms clean but had multiple stalls and running water. Our experiencewas fantastic and we will be back. Read more
